摘要： A method for the manufacture and decoration of a mineral-filled resin shower tray with an external coating, including the steps of applying an external coating layer on the internal surface of a mould, casting a mix of resin and mineral filler on the mould, curing and drying the mix, and including the prior steps of disposing on the internal surface of the mould cavity a transfer film including on one of the sides thereof a pattern printed in ink, vacuum thermoforming the transfer film against the internal surface of the mould cavity, and the subsequent step of removing the film from the surface of the mineral-filled resin shower tray with an external coating.

An adhesive layer is placed between the two or more portions at the location of the weld line and a conductor is placed between the two or more portions in operable contact with the adhesive. Energy is transmitted through the conductor and into the adhesive layer to activate the adhesive layer and create the weld line that defines the welded joints between the two or more portions. The welded joint of the structural component allows energy to be injected into the adhesive layer via the conductor in order to cause the adhesive layer to activate from the inside of the adhesive outward. The conductor can be placed adjacent the adhesive layer or within the adhesive layer in order to cause the adhesive to be activated from the inside outward.

The showerhead may include a flow restrictor. The flow restrictor may limit a maximum fluid flow rate of a fluid delivered from the showerhead engine to approximately 1.5 gallons per minute.

The seal is associated with cavity and is capable of forming a substantially continuous seal with a bathtub liner. The heating element is capable of heating the cavity, and in turn, the liner. The pressure increasing element is capable of increasing the pressure within the cavity, to in turn, force a bathtub liner outwardly, away from the cavity. Upon positioning of the liner and apparatus over an existing bathtub the pressure increasing element will force the liner toward and into contact with the surfaces of the existing bathtub.
