    • A clamping unit for an injection molding machine includes a fixed platen, a support platen, and a moving platen which is arranged between the fixed platen and the support platen for back and forth movement. An opening and closing mechanism constructed as crank drive having at least one crank disk is provided to effect a back and forth movement of the moving platen in relation to the support platen, with the crank disk rotatable by a drive mechanism. A first connecting rod links the crank disk to the support platen, and a second connecting rod links the crank disk to the moving platen, wherein at least one of the first and second connecting rods is articulated in eccentric relationship to the crank disk. A pulling means extends between the support platen and the fixed platen to allow a buildup of a clamping force between the fixed platen and the moving platen.

    • A toggle joint of an injection molding machine includes several spaced stationary arm members, a movable arm member, a pivotal rod, and bushings fitted in the movable arm member; the pivotal rod has oil passages therein, and it is connected to the stationary arm members and passed through the bushings such that the movable arm member pivots on the pivotal rod; each of the bushings has oil passages on an inner side, and two annular grooves on the inner side, which are on two sides of the oil passages; leak-prevention rings are respectively fitted on the annular grooves of the bushings for preventing leakage of lubricating oil when the oil is supplied between the bushings and the pivotal rod from the pivotal rod.

    • An injection apparatus includes an injection frame; a cylinder member attached to the injection frame; an injection member disposed within the cylinder member such that the same can rotate and can advance and retreat; a rotary slide member attached to the injection member; a stator attached to the injection frame, and a rotor disposed radially inward of the stator to be rotatable relative to the stator. The rotor includes a hollow, cylindrical member disposed radially outward of the rotary slide member and movably relative to the rotary slide member, and a magnet attached to the cylindrical member. In this case, the rotor has a cylindrical member and a magnet and can transmit generated rotation directly to the rotary slide member. Therefore, a transmission mechanism which consists of an output gear, a counter drive gear, a counter driven gear, a rotary member, etc. becomes unnecessary; and generation of noise due to meshing engagement of gears and other components can be prevented. Accordingly, the number of components can be reduced, generation of torque loss can be prevented, and cost of the injection apparatus can be reduced.
