摘要： A method of manufacturing paint roller covers is disclosed in which the paint roller covers are manufactured from a seamless segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric that is placed onto a cylindrical forming tube having a segment of bonding material temporarily secured on its outer surface under the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric. The cylindrical forming tube is placed on a heated mandrel to apply heat thereto to cause the bonding material to bond to the interior of the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric. The cylindrical forming tube is removed from the mandrel and cooled, and the segment of tubular paint roller cover fabric becomes secured to the bonding material to produce a semi-rigid paint roller cover segment. The semi-rigid paint roller cover segment may be finished into paint roller covers by cutting it into appropriately sized segments, combing and shearing the pile fabric to a desired length, beveling the edges of the paint roller covers, and vacuuming stray fibers from the paint roller covers.

The system and method may involve creating a patterned film layer and applying the patterned film layer to the surface of a golf ball. The patterned film layer may include a layer of film having cutouts leaving the remaining portions of film in a pattern. The pattern may include a net pattern. The patterned film layer may include a material that is relatively harder or relatively softer than the surface of the golf ball. The method may include removing portions of film from a film material to create a patterned film material, cutting the patterned film material into sheets, molding two patterned film sheets into substantially hemispherical cups, and applying the two substantially hemispherical cups to a golf ball.

摘要： A method for manufacturing a lace tip includes: A glue layer, a pattern layer and a transparent layer are stacked in sequence on a predetermined location of a lace body. A surface of the pattern layer includes a plurality of first portions and a plurality of second portions which are alternately arranged on the pattern layer. The glue layer, the pattern layer and the transparent layer are fixed in sequence on the predetermined location of the lace body by thermal pressing. A plurality of concave portions and a plurality of convex portions are formed on a surface of the transparent layer which are alternately arranged on the surface of the transparent layer, so that the concave portions or the convex portions can refract light through the first portions and the second portions in accordance with changes of user's view angle.

The method further includes cutting a portion of the substrate/laminate assembly to form the shaped counter top edge.

摘要： An apparatus and method to manufacture shaped counter top edges for custom counter tops. Sheet laminate is heated, clamped to a post form mold with clamping screws, and then formed around the post form mold into formed laminate. The formed laminate is then bonded to a substrate using adhesive and a bonding fixture having a plurality of bonding presses. Each bonding press has a pair of mutually opposed bonding press molds, each bonding press mold having a bonding press mold groove sized to admit a formed laminate around an edge of the substrate. Clamps hold the bonding press molds together, thereby urging the formed laminate into intimate contact with the substrate until the adhesive cures. A counter top edge is cut from the resulting substrate/laminate assembly at an edge first cut angle and an edge second cut angle to provide a neat and aesthetically pleasing installation on a counter.

摘要： Method to improve the barrier properties of composite gas cylinders and high pressure gas cylinder having enhanced barrier propertiesThe instant invention pertains to a new method for improving the barrier properties of composite gas cylinders for the storage of gas, by sheathing the outer surface of a composite gas cylinder with a tubular plastic film comprising a barrier material and shrinking it by heat treatment to approach a strong connection. The composite gas cylinder comprises an inner liner made of polyolefin and an outer fibre-reinforced, pressure supporting layer. The barrier material may comprise polyamide, polyester, halogen substituted polymer, EVOH or a metallization. The invention pertains also to a high pressure composite gas cylinder having enhanced barrier properties and its use as a fuel tank in gas driven automotive vehicles equipped with a combustion engine.
