摘要： A concrete comprises in relative parts by weight: 100 of Portland cement; 0.25 to 9 of a defoamer; 0.001 to 6 of a surfactant; 0 to 230 of coarse gravel and/or fine gravel and/or shear enhancers; 0 to 85 of sand; 0 to 60 of a particulate pozzolanic or non-pozzolanic material or a mixture thereof having a mean particle size less than 15 micrometers; 0 to 80 of a particulate pozzolanic or non-pozzolanic material or a mixture thereof having a mean particle size between 15 to 88 micrometers; 0.3 to 18 of a water-reducing superplasticizer; 0 to 14 of polyethylene fibers; and 5 to 40 of water. An air mixing process using a tightly sealed mixing tool is used to thoroughly mix the constituents of the concrete before adding the water for curing. By adjusting relative parts in the composition, concretes of high and ultrahigh performance can be achieved efficiently.

摘要： The disclosure relates to methods of making asphalt concrete mixtures including reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP). Variability in the fraction of binder that occurs in RAP that is able to melt and mix with virgin binder included in the concrete mixture previously made it difficult to select an appropriate amount of virgin binder. Methods described herein permit an asphalt concrete mix designer to determine the amount of virgin binder that can be combined with RAP and virgin aggregate in order to satisfy the minimum effective binder content of a job mix formula for such a concrete mix. The subject matter described herein thus permits more efficient use of RAP and permits use of RAP in higher amounts in asphalt concrete mixtures.

摘要： The present invention relates to modular columns for construction purposes, which comprise: a metal profile section positioned vertically, functioning as a post that may optionally be anchored to or fixed to the surface of the floor; a series of base modules, “body” and capital, which in turn are formed from two symmetric blocks which have a recess, resulting in a square hollow that is filled with a conventional mixture of cement, river sand and lime, which, once dried, holds the blocks firmly joined to the profile section. The invention furthermore provides a method for the production of the modular columns and also a procedure for the installation thereof, with alternatives for columns that are load-bearing or that are simply for aesthetic purposes, said methodologies involving a series of practical, easy-to-follow steps.

摘要： The invention is related to a device for the continuous mixing of lightconcrete comprising density decreasing particles, concrete and water, characterised by an elongated mixing chamber (1) in which a screw (4) is rotatably arranged around the central axis (5) of the cylinder (1). The screw is provided with two parts, a first transporting screw part (6) and a second combined transporting and mixing screw part (7). At the free end of the transporting screw part (6), a first feeding device (13) for the supply of density decreasing particles is arranged, and at the transition between the two different screw parts (6,7), a second feeding device (14) for the supply of a concrete/water mixture is arranged. The density decreasing particles are transported by means of the transporting screw part (6) into the combined transporting and mixing screw part (7), in-order to be mixed therein into a homogenous mass of at least density decreasing particles, concrete and water, and wherein at the same time, the mass is output from the free end of the combined transporting and mixing screw part (7). The invention is further related to a method of continuous mixing, and the use of a combined transporting and mixing screw.

The sheet may be shaped generally like a square, triangle, circle rectangle, or other suitable shape, and may range in size between approximately 36 inches square and 96 inches square and may have a thickness between approximately four and ten millimeters. The sheet may be made materials that exhibit draping or hand characteristics, a high tensile strength, puncture and abrasion resistance, and a high friction co-efficient. The sheet may also comprise grasping mechanisms. A method for mixing ingredients and thereafter dispensing the end materials by placing one or more ingredients to be mixed on the sheet, forming an interior vessel by upwardly lifting one or more edges of the sheet, lifting and lowering one or more edges of the sheet to mix the ingredients to make an end material, and forming an interior flexible chute in the sheet by lowering one or more edges of the sheet and raising one or more other edges of the sheet to facilitate dispensing the end material into a desired location.
