    • The invention relates to a grinding device, comprising a mounting body which is detachably connected to a grinding element, said detachable connection being designed such that the mounting body has a first adhering arrangement and the grinding element has a second adhering element and the adhering elements correspond in the manner of a Velcro fastener.     • The present invention relates to an interface pad for use between an abrasive article and a support tool. In one particular embodiment, an interface pad for use between a perforated abrasive article and a support tool is provided. In general, the interface pads described herein contain apertures and at least one channel configured such that an interface pad can be used between an abrasive article having a particular configuration of apertures and a support tool having different configuration of dust collection apertures. In one embodiment, the interface pads described herein contain apertures and at least one channel configured such that the interface pad can be used between any perforated abrasive article and any support tool with dust extraction capabilities. Abrasive tools which include an interface pad and methods for using the interface pads are also described.

    • The method of adhering polishing pads is capable of easily exchanging polishing pads in a comfortable posture. The method comprises the steps of: setting a pad adhering carrier, which has a through-hole in which a roller unit for pressing polishing pads is fixed, in a holder with arranging a roller unit in a radial direction of a lower polishing plate and an upper polishing plate; relatively moving the upper polishing plate toward the lower polishing plate so as to clamp the roller unit between the lower polishing plate and the upper polishing plate with a prescribed force; rotating the lower polishing plate and the upper polishing plate, which clamp the roller unit, in the opposite directions at the same speed; and pressing the polishing pads onto polishing faces of the lower polishing plate and the upper polishing plate by the roller unit.
