    • An apparatus for shearing and breaking nonferrous castings of the present invention includes a first cutter unit and a second cutter unit disposed in a frame. Each of the first cutter unit and the second cutter unit includes at least an intermediate cutter unit located at the intermediate stage and a lower cutter unit located at the lower stage. Each of the intermediate cutter units is a multi-vertex cutter part formed into a multi-vertex shape by rhombic cutting edges and crucial cutting edges connected to the respective intersections of diagonals of the rhombic cutting edges. The lower cutter units respectively have a concave cutting edge and a convex cutting edge which are engaged with a gap being formed therebetween.

    • A crushing apparatus has an hydraulic cylinder for actuating a toggle mechanism connected to a moveable jaw. The apparatus may have a main frame with an opening near the top of the frame for admitting material to be crushed. There is a first jaw connected to the frame on one side of the opening by a first pivotal connection near the top of the jaw. A first toggle mechanism is operatively associated with the first jaw. There may also be a second jaw connected to the frame on a side of the opening opposite the first jaw by a second pivotal connection near the bottom of the second jaw. A second toggle mechanism is operatively associated with the bottom mounted jaw. The crushing apparatus may have a toggle mount which is movable towards or away from the associated jaw.

The front and rear crank-rocker mechanisms are utilized for changing mechanical structure characteristics of the bottom of the swinging jaw and greatly improving functionality of the jaw crusher.

    • A crusher is provided having improved wear resistance and crushing capacity. Particularly, the crusher provides an improved mechanism for adjusting the closed side setting by acting on an adjustable jaw, rather than the moveable jaw. The crusher includes a moveable jaw, an adjustable jaw, and a frame that supports the adjustable jaw and the moveable jaw such that the adjustable jaw and the moveable jaw define a crushing chamber having an upper opening for receiving a material to be crushed and a lower opening for expelling crushed material from the chamber after crushing. The crusher also includes a drive mechanism coupled to the moveable jaw for directing reciprocating motion of the moveable jaw and an adjustment mechanism coupled to the adjustable jaw for altering an angle of the adjustable jaw and, thereby, altering a closed side setting of the crushing chamber.
