摘要： A kneading machine for flour-based mixes, particularly for bakery products, comprises two kneading implements turning within a rotating tank having a cylindrical shape, with concordant directions of rotation, about two axes, which are parallel to the axis of the tank and are set at a distance from the axis of the tank so as to describe two theoretical cylinders that are substantially tangential both with respect to one another and with respect to the circumferential wall of the tank. Each arm describes an orbital movement about the respective axis of rotation and is set inclined with respect to a straight line generatrix of its theoretical cylinder.

The mixing screw is mounted on a drive unit that extends into the mixing vessel, for rotation around its axis, and also revolves slowly around the innerside of the mixing vessel. A high speed rotor is mounted in a open cage which is hung from the drive unit. Completing the mixing device separate driving motors mounted outside the vessel, for driving the rotor and the mixing screw.

摘要： An apparatus for the cutting and mixing of fibrous products for the preparation of animal feed which includes a hopper where equipments for the cutting and mixing of fibrous product are installed. Based on this invention, such mixing and cutting equipment is constituted by a single auger that is separated into two equal sections by a partition that is welded to the shaft of the auger itself. The auger is equipped with a first section of auger blades that turn counterclockwise. The hopper has a bottom that is partially cylindrical where the auger is installed. From this bottom, one wall extends practically vertical and the opposite one extends oblique.

The mixer includes a first material holder bin mounted to the vehicle chassis, a second material holder bin mounted to the chassis positioned reawardly of the first material bin, a device for dispensing the second material from the second material holder bin, a cross auger attached to the chassis and disposed beneath the dispensing device and a mixing auger in fluid communication with the cross auger. A conveyor extends through the first material holder bin and has a dispensing end in fluid communication with the cross auger. A device for agitating the first material in the first material holder bin is provided and includes a vertical agitator and a horizontal agitator, wherein fingers are disposed in both of the agitators adapted to agitate material held in the first material holder bin. Further, a method for preparing a settable material is disclosed, including use of a moist class F fly ash and a dry class C fly ash.

摘要： A self-loading feed mixer and transport wagon is provided which is capable of grinding and loading a stack of livestock feed material into the wagon, thoroughly mixing the feed material together, and transporting the feed material to a desired location where it is dispensed from the wagon. The wagon includes a feed grinding and loading mechanism which is vertically adjustable to engage the stack of feed material at different levels. The feed grinding and loading mechanism comprises an open-faced housing which contains a rotatable shaft provided with a plurality of hammer units and a concave screen spaced from the shaft and cooperable with the hammer units to grind the feed material. The grinding and loading mechanism includes a grapple fork pivotally mounted on the housing and adapted to urge the feed material through the open-faced housing into engagement with the pulverizing hammers. The grapple fork is provided with a shield which serves as a protective cover to close the open-faced housing. The ground feed material is fed via a blower unit and flexible spout into the feed compartment of the wagon. Preferably, an auger mechanism is provided at the top of the feed compartment which uniformly distributes the ground feed material along the compartment.

摘要： An agricultural feed grinder and mixer having a hammermill means which grinds various types of grain and other feed and combines the ground crop material with supplemental feed and thoroughly mixes the combination and discharges it to other containers or storage areas. The machine has a generally horizontal feed screw auger which receives the material from the hammermill and from the supplemental feed hopper and discharges it into a mixing tank. Power is transmitted from a power source, such as a tractor through a power take-off shaft and through the feed screw auger where the power is delivered to a mixing auger in the mixing tank. Sealable means are also provided for use with the feed screw auger and which seals off the hammermill area from the rest of the apparatus such as the dust collector to thereby insure an efficient sucking action of the hammermill blower so that air is sucked efficiently through the hammermill screen and discharged to a dust collector; air is prevented from returning from the dust collector or the supplemental feed hopper by means of the seal means.

摘要： Mixing apparatus having a frame on which a vertical mixing tank is mounted. The tank has a cylindrical upper section and a conical downwardly converging lower section. A hammermill is carried on the frame and provided with a hopper to receive feed material. Different types of feed material are fed into the hopper and chopped as they pass through the hammermill. A transfer auger conveys chopped material from the hammermill to the tank. Other feed material may be added during the mixing operation by introduction thereof via a second auger conveyor. A mixing assembly within the tank circulates the various feed material in a circuitous path to produce a well mixed homogeneous mass. A third auger conveyor, utilized to unload the tank, is mounted coaxially with the second feed auger and communicates with the bottom of the tank through an appropriate opening. The mixing assembly includes a vertical auger having a frusto-conical shaped lower core portion mounted for rotation opposite the conical wall section to form a trough-like area at the bottom of the tank chamber.
