摘要： The present invention relates to a multistage stirred reactor, comprising a multiplicity of mutually adjacent reaction chambers and stirring elements for mixing the contents of at least one of the reaction chambers, wherein, between adjacent reaction chambers, there is in each case provided at least one opening that can be closed by means of closure means, such that in the open state there is a fluidic connection between the adjacent reaction chambers and in the closed state the adjacent reaction chambers are separated from one another. At least one of the closure means (300, 310, 320) is connected to an actuation rod (500, 510, 520) that is guided out of the stirred reactor. The actuation rod (500, 510, 520) can be moved back and forth between at least one first position and a second position, by rotation and/or displacement, wherein in the first position closure means (300, 310, 320) that are connected to the actuation rod (500, 510, 520) effect an open state of the opening assigned to them and in the second position closure means (300, 310, 320) that are connected to the actuation rod (500, 510, 520) effect a closed state of the opening assigned to them.

摘要： By providing a single housing comprising a mixing chamber integrally combined with a delivery chamber or tube, a unitary, fully integrated, bone cement mixing and dispensing system is attained which eliminates user exposure or handling of the mixed bone cement. In the present invention, the two chambers of the integrated system are movable between two alternate positions, a first position wherein each chamber is sealed from the other, and a second position wherein the two chambers in direct communication with each other. In this way the mixing chamber is operated independently from the chamber for preparing the bone cement and, once prepared, is easily transferred from the mixing chamber through the delivery chamber. A dual drive assembly is provided such that it may an independently rotate a mixing blade in a first speed and direction, and independently drive the speed and rotation of a feed controlling element at a second speed and direction. The rate of speed or rotation of the mixing portion is thereby easily controlled to any desired level, relative to the rotational speed of movement of the controlling portion in the delivery chamber.

摘要： The pneumatically operated apparatus includes a transparent, calibrated paint container to facilitate measuring of the required proportions of color and solvents. A vertically displaceable and rotatable member extends through and seals an opening in the bottom of the container. The member has a hollow body forming a paint passage. An agitator is sealingly mounted on the end thereof extending through the opening and into the container, the other end being opened. An aperture is provided in the wall of the member spaced a short distance from the agitator. A friction surface is provided for connecting a pneumatically operated drive to the member to rotate same. The member is vertically displaceable between a mixing position, wherein the friction surface is effective to engage the member and rotate same and the aperture is situated below the container seal to prevent paint flow and a dispensing position, wherein the friction surface is disengaged from the member and the aperture is at least partially situated above the seal in the container, so as to provide a passage to permit gravity to cause the paint to flow through the body and out the bottom opened end thereof.

摘要： An ice cream twisting apparatus includes an elongated housing with a mixing chamber formed within the interior thereof. An inlet port extends through the top of the housing to the mixing chamber to provide soft serve ice cream to the mixing chamber. A blending rod is mounted for rotation in the mixing chamber and includes a central disk which divides injected ice cream into two separate mixing chambers. A passageway through the housing to each of the individual mixing chambers permits the introduction of a desired flavor into the ice cream. The blending rod then mixes the individual flavor with the ice cream and the separate mixing chamber. Outlet tubes extend from the individual mixing chambers to an outlet port to provide two separate flavors of ice cream at the outlet port.

摘要： A mixing machine for a flowable material is provided with a mixing vessel from the horizontal bottom wall of which extends downwardly a hollow cylindrical guide provided with a lateral discharge nipple. A tubular housing extends slidably through the guide and extends with its upper end into the mixing vessel and is covered at this upper end by an annular funnel-shaped member and below the same has radial discharge apertures.
