摘要： Improvements to filtration and vessels such as for filtration and coalescing of gas streams are shown. A filter element with a partial treated region and untreated region such as providing different surface energies or other filtration characteristics are provided. Various keying arrangements for compatibility and/or rotational locking are shown between the filtration vessel, a tubular coalescing baffle, and/or filter element. The tubular coalescing baffle also may include non-louvered pore structure, which provides for more even flow in a two stage type filtration vessel to prevent premature exiting and reduction of flow velocities along the second stage, and/or may additionally or alternatively include drainage apertures such as drain slot formed along a gravitational bottom or otherwise to facilitate additional drainage of coalesced liquid as opposed to letting such liquid be forced through fluid velocity toward the open end of the tubular baffle.

摘要： Apparatuses, systems and methods are disclosed including apparatus for separating oil from a blow-by gas of an engine. The apparatus can include an outer housing, an inner housing, a filter, one or more ports, a first cover and a second cover. The inner housing can be positioned within the outer housing and defines an inner cavity. The inner housing and the outer housing can form a jacket therebetween. The filter configured to separate the oil from the blow-by gas positioned within the inner cavity. The one or more ports can be configured for fluid communication with the jacket. The first cover can have at least a first port therein to receive the blow-by gas or allow the blow-by gas to pass from the first cover. The second cover can have a second port therein to receive the blow-by gas or allow the blow-by gas to pass from the second cover.

Various example package assemblies are provided with various types of rotating configurations including cylindrical coiled media packs, frustum coiled media packs, concentric cylinders, coiled metal or polymer films with and without perforations, and/or alternating layers of different materials. The described rotating coalescers may be driven by hydraulic turbine, electric motor, belt, gear or by mounting on rotating machine components, such as rotating engine shafts or connected components.

The system comprises: A casing body [102] including a first section [136] defining an inner volume therein, and a second section [138] adjacent to the first section. The second section includes an inlet port [116], The first section has a larger cross-section than the second section, and forms a peripheral first ledge [142] surrounding the second section. At least one NBC filter accommodated in the inner volume. The at least one NBC filter is supported on the first ledge [142], A lid [104] including a central portion [154] and a second ledge [152] surrounding the central portion. 摘要： A phase separator includes an inlet of an inlet duct to receive two-phase flow from a two-phase flow source that is in line with the inlet duct. The two-phase flow includes gas and liquid. The phase separator also includes a liquid permeable membrane arranged at an outlet of the inlet duct to pass the liquid for capture while diverting the gas to result in an annular flow of the gas around the liquid permeable membrane. An outlet of an outlet duct outputs the gas that is separated from the liquid and that results in the annular flow of the gas.

摘要： A dust filter is configured to filter air drawn into a vehicle canister. The dust filter includes a first portion including a first engaging portion and a second portion including a second engaging portion. The second portion is attached to the first portion by engagement of the second engaging portion with the first engaging portion. The first portion includes a filtration member and a case. The case includes an inner chamber within which the filtration member is disposed. The case includes a drainage port configured to drain liquid that has infiltrated the inner chamber. The second portion is attached to the first portion to form a cover that covers the drainage port together with the first portion. The cover has an outlet that opens to the outside at a position lower than the drainage port.

摘要： A filter assembly for separating and removing a liquid from a compressed fluid stream includes a filter element for separating the liquid from the fluid, a purge valve, and an elongated valve operator for actuating the purge valve. The top of the filter element has a shroud that decreases the flow area of the entering fluid stream to induce a vortex of the fluid, allowing the liquid to separate from the fluid. The purge valve is located at the bottom of the filter element for draining the separated liquid. The elongated valve operator axially extends through the filter element and is moveable by an actuating piston located at the top of the filter element, in response to elevated pressure in the filter assembly. The filtered air is dried through a desiccant body and then outputted from the filter assembly to be used in an air brake system.
