摘要： A game device that safely emulates a game of Russian Roulette using balloons and the method thereof. The game device resembles a revolver, but without a barrel, and with the muzzle adjacent the cylinder. The game device contains a protected pin instead of a bullet for puncturing a balloon. An expandable ring is rotatably mounted adjacent the muzzle of the device that allows exposure of the pin only when a fully blown balloon is positioned therein to be punctured. Upon actuation of the pin, it is only exposed for a very short period of time to further prevent unnecessary exposure and injury to the user.

摘要： A balloon-bursting game for providing amusement to individuals at events by striking a pneumatic striker to inflate the balloon until it bursts. The inventive device includes a striker mechanism for pneumatically compressing air into an air tube when struck or depressed, a vertical shaft comprised of a base structure and housing, a balloon nozzle and piercing frame attached to the top of the vertical shaft, and an air tube connected by a nozzle from the striker mechanism through a monodirectional controlling valve and housing to the bottom end of the balloon nozzle. In use, with an uninflated balloon secured to the balloon nozzle, a hammer or similar object, or means of jumping up and down upon the striker mechanism, repeatedly depresses the striker mechanism, forcing air through the tube, valve and nozzle into the balloon, so that the balloon expands to a size sufficient to press against the piercing frame and burst.

Adjacent the path of travel is a three dimensional fish whose jaws may be manually moved toward a closed position by rotating its dorsal fin. Playing with the game, a balloon is placed in the fish's jaws and players are required to rotate the fin when their tokens land on particular game board spaces. When the balloon bursts, the player who burst it is penalized.

It uses sensing mechanisms to determine the moment a winner has won and then triggers a mechanism in the non-winners device to destroy itself. A device for revealing a winner may include a bladder fill able with fluid, a way to hold the bladder, a mechanism to detect a win event, a mechanism to notify the loser's equipment of the win event, and a mechanism to burst the bladder of the loser's battle/sport equipment based on their loss.

The apparatus (1) comprises a balloon securing means (24, 25) and a moveable section (9) that is extendable to a predetermined position and which is operatively connected to an actuator (7). Operation of the actuator (7) therefore acts to extend the moveable section (9) to the predetermined position in order to burst the balloon or activate the stimulus. The game proceeds with players taking turns in operating the apparatus (1). Each turn comprises a player operating the actuator (7) by a predetermined amount before passing the apparatus to the next player. This process continues until one of the turns results in the balloon bursting and/or the stimulus being activated.

The game includes a countdown timer for providing a predetermined game interval, and an activation switch for the initiation of the play of the game and the countdown timer. A first detector is provided for detecting the successful exercise of skill during the play of the game and providing a signal to the controller reflecting the successful exercise of skill. A controller performs a number of functions including, in response to said signal reflecting the successful exercise of skill, activation of the air pump to operate during said game interval wherein the air pump will cause balloon to inflate. In the event a signal is recognized by the controller for a sufficient time over said predetermined game interval, the pump will be correspondingly activated for a duration which will cause the balloon to burst. After an unsuccessful play of the game the controller will activate the release valve to allow any pressure in said system to dissipate.

When the target is impacted by a projectile such as a tennis ball, the connecting rod pivots, releasing the balloon bursting device thereby bursting the balloon and immediately discharging its contents on the game participant.
