摘要： The device for performing secured binding of a boot on a first ski includes a binding of the boot on the first ski and a control circuit. The binding is configured to facilitate disengagement between the boot and the first ski on receipt of a disengagement signal. A control circuit is configured to: determine an angular deviation between a first direction of the first ski and a second direction of a second ski, determine the forward progression of the first and second skis along the longitudinal axis of each of the skis, calculate at least one parameter from the angular deviation and from the forward progressions of the first and second skis, compare the parameter with a threshold parameter, and transmit the disengagement signal according to the comparison.

摘要： A ski binding for downhill skiing and cross-country skiing has a plate which can be pivoted upwards in the front region about an axis located transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski. A front ski binding and a rear heel holder for a ski boot or cross-country ski boot are fastened on the plate. At least one catch element which is arranged in front of, or in the region of, the rear sole holder can be used to secure the plate, in its rear region, on the abutment fitted on the ski. In addition, at least one catch element is arranged in the front region of the plate. The plate is fixed on the ski, and reinforced, in the manner of a conventional downhill ski binding by the further catch element in the front region of the ski binding and, in the locked state, is anchored at the front end and at the rear end, and at a number of locations therebetween, on parts of the ski or parts which have been fixed to the ski.

The sole holders are double-armed levers, with the lever arms of the sole holders distal from the sole interacting with pistons which are displaceable in a direction transverse to the ski binding's axis and, by a spring which is clamped between and engages the pistons, are forced against the lever arms which are remote from the sole.

The binding system includes a secondary toe release that provides an attenuated release threshold under lateral shear loading conditions that can cause anterior cruciate ligament injuries. The secondary toe release responds to a trigger that senses the lateral shear loads applied to the inside (medial) afterbody of the ski and triggers the secondary toe release the boot at an attenuated release torque.
