摘要： A device for protecting a user from a sharp tip of a medical needle includes a central body portion, a medical needle having a sharp tip, a pair of wings in attachment to the central body portion, and a hook-and-loop fastening system disposed on at least one of the wings, and configured to selectively attach the wings together with the medical needle positioned between the wings so as to protect a user from the sharp tip of the medical needle. A method of using the device includes withdrawing a sharp tip of a medical needle from a patient, closing a pair of wings with the medical needle positioned between the wings, and fastening the wings together with the medical needle positioned between the wings so as to protect a user from the sharp tip of the medical needle.

摘要： A safety syringe for medical use is disclosed as having an injection-molded body with a tubular barrel having a finger flange projecting transversely from the barrel near a proximal end of the barrel and a cylindrical collar projecting rearwardly from the finger flange to the proximal end of the barrel. A plunger assembly includes a plunger handle end cap and an elastomeric plunger seal insertable into the barrel through a rearwardly facing opening in the cylindrical collar to slidably engage the cylindrical inside wall of the barrel. A cylindrical elastomeric bushing is frictionally engaged around an outside wall of the cylindrical collar, and a selectively removable plunger cap frictionally engages the cylindrical elastomeric bushing. A safety syringe may also include a needle safety device.

The injection needle is movable between a rest position in which the injection needle is entirely arranged within the device and an injection position in which the injection needle protrudes at least partially from the device through a through opening formed in the base surface. The device includes a patch having an adhesive layer integrally formed with the base surface, and a removable protective layer. A cap is positioned at the base surface at the through opening and is integrated with the protective layer of the patch.

摘要： A device for adjusting the tightening angle of a needle safety protector is proposed. The device is configured to provide an injection needle in an integrated state with a needle hub for preventing reuse of the injection needle and to fasten the needle hub to a needle safety protector that is disposed of in a folded state after use, a fastening structure is improved such that rotation is possible by a predetermined angle when the needle safety protector is rotated. Accordingly, an injection is safely performed by correcting the injection needle to the reference direction. In addition, even when a syringe is assembled by deviating from a reference angle during the mass production with the automatic line, the wrong angle is corrected in use.

摘要： The invention is a single use delivery device configured to enable reconstitution of a lyophilized agent (e.g., vaccine, drug, medicament, etc.) stored within for subsequent delivery of the reconstituted fluid agent to a patient in a controlled manner and without requiring specialized skill in reconstituting the agent or administering delivery of such agent. The delivery device is prefilled with an individual dose of a lyophilized agent and configured to be filled on-site and in the field with a dose of diluent for reconstitution of the lyophilized agent, while remaining sterile and preventing the potential for contamination during the filling process. The delivery device is further configured to be rendered incapable of reuse followings its intended use of delivering the fluid agent to a patient, thereby preventing reuse of the device and reducing the risk of the spreading blood-borne diseases through reuse.

摘要： The present invention safety device is a one-piece needle assembly that has a base and a housing pivotally connected to the base. The base has a distal portion to which a needle is fitted. At the base there is formed longitudinally along its distal portion a catch mechanism that may be in the form of an anchor projection. At the back wall of the housing there is extended another catch mechanism that may be configured in the form of two clasping fingers. Also providing in the housing is an integral hook. As the housing and the base are pivoted relative to each other, and as the needle makes contact with the hook, the respective catch mechanisms at the base and the housing also make contact with each other, resulting in the coupling of the catch mechanisms and the coupling of the needle to the hook. As a result, the catch mechanisms are interlocked and the needle is fixedly retained by the hook within the housing. The catch mechanisms may also be configured as a hook and a latch in the form of a rib with an opening whereto the hook is fixedly coupled. The catch mechanisms may further be configured as respective interlockable pairs of loops and bosses. The gauge of the needle may be determined by the color of both the base and the housing, which are molded as a unitary single unit.

摘要： A needle assembly includes a needle and a needle shield device. The needle shield device includes an inner shield connectable to at least one a base and a fluid connector connectable to the base, and an outer shield fixedly connected to the opposing end the needle and displaceable relative to the inner shield between a first position, in which the sharpened end of the needle is exposed outside the inner shield, and a second position, in which the sharpened end of the needle is shielded by the inner shield. Interaction between portions of the inner and outer shields during or after proximal displacement of the outer shield from the first position to the second position automatically releases or permits release of the inner shield from connection to the at least one of the base and the fluid connector.

The holder shield portion (62) and movable shield portion (64) being provided with retainer (51, 52, 70) arranged to cooperate in the first position to prevent the movable shield portion (64) from moving toward its second position.
