摘要： Disclosed are endodontic filling materials and methods. A method for filling a dental root canal may include providing a hydrosetting filling material and inserting the hydrosetting filling material into the dental root canal, the material setting in the root canal to form a biocompatible filling. The hydrosetting filling material comprises a hydrogel former and a filler. The hydrogel former is at least one of a reactive organic hydrogel formers, an inorganic hydrogel formers, and a non-reactive organic hydrogel formers, and the filler is at least one of a self-hardening and a non-hardening filler. Plural filling material precursor compositions that collectively contain hydrogel formers and fillers may be provided.

摘要： A novel amorphous divalent metal ion salt for enhancing the manageability of a Portland cement and its application in dental field are disclosed. Typical formula (I), (II), or (III) of this amorphous metal ion salt are shown as following: M 2 + ⁢ A x - ⁢ B 2 - x - ( I ) M 2 + ⁢ A y 2 - ⁢ C ( 4 - y ) 4 2 - ( II ) M 2 + ⁢ A z 3 - ⁢ D ( 6 - z ) 9 3 - ( III ) wherein, M2+, A−, B−, C−2, D−3, x, y, and z are defined the same as the specification. A novel tooth filling material comprises: a Portland cement, a bone substitute substance, and an amorphous divalent metal ion salt with formula of (I), (II), or (III). In addition, a novel root canal filling material comprises: a Portland cement, a radiopaque substance, and an amorphous divalent metal ion salt with formula of (I), (II), or (III). This amorphous divalent metal ion salt in the filling material of the present invention can improve the sticking together and reduce the setting time, thus offering more convenient in dental applications.

Disclosed is a dental composition and dental composition additive which have improved handling characteristics, for example improved viscosity and setting time. 摘要： The embodiments herein provide a dental and medical biomaterial and its use for sealing and/or filling the tooth and bone cavities. In the embodiments herein, the calcium salt, calcium oxide, calcium silicate, and calcium phosphate compounds are mixed with a water-base solution, and a bioactive phosphate and calcium enriched mixture is prepared. The mixture comprises high concentration of water-soluble calcium and phosphate, and consequently forms hydroxyapatite during and after setting. The dental/medical biomaterial is biocompatible, antibacterial and capable of forming an effective seal against reentrance of microorganisms into the filled cavity. The biomaterial is compatible to handle and set in an aqueous environment and to stimulate soft/hard tissue healing/generation/regeneration.

摘要： An injectable and moldable putty comprising biodegradable calcium-based compounds including calcium sulfate, hydroxyapatite, and tricalcium phosphate is invented. The putty hardens into a solid body when mixed with water, saline, serum, or other neutral aqueous solutions. The hardening time of the putty can be tailored in order to meet the specific requirements of various dental or orthopedic applications. The pH of the putty is neutral during and after mixing. The invented putty may be used as bone graft, bone implant, or implantable drug delivery device.

摘要： In a method for producing two-membered or multi-membered all-ceramic dental shaped parts, such as framework elements for bridges and the like, a model is first produced from the basic structure for which the dental shaped part is intended. With the aid of this model and a suspension of ceramic particles, a ceramic green body is formed, in particular by electrophoretic deposition, and is subsequently sintered. In said method, at least some of the dimensions of the model are selected so that the shrinkage which occurs during sintering of the green body is compensated, in order in this way to achieve the desired fit between dental shaped part and basic structure.

摘要： Bonding to calcified tissues, including human teeth, tooth dentine and bone, is achieved through the medium of crystal growth adhered to the tissue. The crystals preferably comprise gypsum crystals which are formed by contacting the tissue surface with a mildly acidic solution containing sulphate ions. An uncured liquid resin is applied to the crystal growth and is cured to achieve adhesion by micromechanical interlock with the crystal growth and by superficial penetration of the tissue surface.
