摘要： An adjustable sifting assembly for sifting granular food material includes a sleeve that is tapered thereby facilitating the sleeve to receive a granular food material such that the granular food material is urged toward a center of the sleeve. A plurality of screens is provided and a respective one of the screens is positionable in the sleeve. Each of the screens has a plurality of openings that is integrated into the screens thereby facilitating the screen that is positioned in the sleeve to sift the granular food material. In this way the screen that is positioned in the sleeve can remove dust and debris from the granular food material. The openings in each of the screens has a unique size with respect to a respective one of the screens thereby facilitating each of the screens to sift granular food items of varying sizes.

摘要： The present invention is a handheld device for flouring/breading foods comprising two chambers that are capable of removably connecting together each chamber having a sieve. The foods chamber can connect to the flour chamber in a screw-like fashion, using grooves and channels, using buttons and snap fittings, using magnets, hook and loop tape, wing nuts, or the like. Preferably, the openings in the food chamber sieve are greater in size than the openings in the flour chamber sieve which is removable. The device further comprises a lid hingedly connected to the top of the food chamber and a handle for grasping the device with one hand. The lid is preferably spring hinged such that when opened, the lid is maintained open preventing the lid from closing when the device is tilted. The present invention also includes the above device with more than two sieves decreasing in opening size from the top down in the device.

A plurality of metallic balls, preferably four, are loosely confined within one of the chambers within which the herbage to be refined is introduced. Vigorous shaking of the device will cause refined herbage to pass from the chamber containing the balls, through the strainer or screen and into the other chamber where the refined herbage may be collected in one of the end caps.
