摘要： An improved slat is disclosed with enhanced functionality and versatility. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, each slat provides multiple vertical positions for receiving brackets. In addition, such slats may include an optional decorative characteristic that can be incorporated into other display devices, such as tables and shelves to increase the functionality and versatility of those devices while providing a decorative flair. The slats in accordance with the present invention can be incorporated into non-linear display devices, for example, cylindrical display devices that can be used for displaying various items, such as earring cards, headbands and other items. Heretofore, such slats have only been used in linear applications. Such slats can also be used in freestanding displays both floor displays and counter-top displays which provide multiple sided functionality. Accordingly, the slats in accordance with the present invention provide enhanced functionality and versatility relative to known slats.
