摘要： The present invention provides protective enclosures and food and/or beverage stations with these enclosures in which one or more of the side panels are easily raised and lowered and easily fixed in one or more positions as desired. For example, side panels can be easily lowered or closed or easily raised and fixed in one or more open configurations. The present invention is based at least in part on a coupling system that pivotably and slideably couples the moveable and positionable side panels to the protective enclosure. The coupling system uses a system of coordinated slots that cooperatively guide the movement of the side panel in its range of motion.

摘要： An adjustable food shield includes a pair of support columns, a pair of rotation and detent mechanisms, a top shelf resting on and attached to the top ends of the support columns, a pair of rotation arms. One of the rotation arms is coupled respectively to each of the rotation and detent mechanisms, such that the rotation arms are rotatable about an axis generally parallel with a lengthwise dimension of the adjustable food shield. The rotation and detent mechanisms provide detents at a number of angular positions of the rotation arms. The adjustable food shield further comprises a shield panel fixed to the rotation arms.

摘要： A food shield has shield panels that are location adjustable and angularly adjustable in respect of support structures (posts) that are coupled to a mounting surface, such as a surface of a buffet table or cart. For location adjustment of a shield panel along length of a post, a bracket assembly includes outer and inner collar portions, a grip element positioned between the outer and inner collar portions, and a tightening element that tightens the connection of the assembled collar against support posts. For angular adjustment, each bracket assembly includes an indexing base, a rotatable arm assembly with an indexing hub, and a removable or retractable coupling element. Side panels are mounted to the same posts as the shield panels with removable clamps that engage exterior surfaces of the posts. The removable clamps have multiple parts that are variously inverted for joining the clamps to posts at different orientations.

摘要： A filler bracket assembly for closing gaps in new or existing sneeze guard assemblies is disclosed. The filler bracket assembly includes dual housings which fit together to provide a cylindrical housing central aperture having an internal diameter sized to receive and affix to a sneeze guard elongated support member. A cap portion is sized to fit on top of the slotted cylindrical housing, and together with gaskets and the filler sneeze guard panel, be affixed thereto by at least one fastener. The split cylindrical housing components allow for easy retro-fit adaptation of a filler bracket assembly to existing, installed sneeze guard assemblies.

The mounting mechanism may include a clamp that includes a main portion and a swing portion that can swing away from the main portion to enable the clamp to be coupled to a post from a side of the post. Detent mechanisms may be provided for the angular adjustment and the translational adjustment. The mounting mechanism may also include a locking mechanism that when engaged fixes the panel in a certain angular position.
