The horizontal support member is securable at any one of multiple vertical locations along the vertical support. The vertical support has a linear array of at least two evenly spaced apertures at the one of the vertical locations, and the backing plate has a corresponding linear array of at least two evenly spaced fixing points. At least one fixing point of the backing plate includes a projection for occupying a corresponding one of the apertures in the vertical support.

摘要： A storage system comprises a rack of multiple platforms connectable to one another in a first direction, where each of the platforms has segments that connect to one another along a direction other than the first direction, via a user-operable coupling. The platforms are preferably rectangular, and are connected at their long ends. The segments of each platform are also preferably rectangular, but they are connected along their long sides. In such embodiments, the connection between platforms is perpendicular to the length of the rack, while the connection between segments is parallel to the length of the rack. The segments of individual platforms are preferably coupled together with snap fit connections, and supported from their undersides by transverse supports, and the transverse supports are supported from their undersides by longitudinal supports via recesses on the segments. The transverse supports are preferably perpendicular to the longitudinal supports.

In a preferred embodiment, the support bracket includes a semicylindrical cuff with an inner surface for engaging the vertical tube and an outer surface from which a platform projects for engaging a bottom surface of the shelf. A pair of alignment ridges are positioned on an upper surface of and extends along the platform, and a lip extending from a marginal edge of the outer surface of the cuff for engaging a top surface and side edge of the shelf. The alignment ridges fit within an alignment slot in the bottom surface of the shelf and engage a clamping plate set into a clamping slot that intersects and is transverse to the alignment slot.

摘要： A shelf mounting bracket includes a flat rectangular plate having top and bottom edges, and opposite side edges. Integral flanges extend from the side edges perpendicular to the plate and upwardly opening shelf support hooks are formed at the bottom end portions of the flanges. A pair of elongated slots is provided in the plate intermediate the top and bottom edges thereof. The slots are spaced-apart from one another and are elongated in a direction extending across the plate side edges. The slots are alignable with holes in a vertical column of a storage rack having a column front face against which the plate is positioned with the flanges extending along side faces of the column. Holes in the column are aligned with the slots and a U-shaped bolt has its threaded legs extending through the column holes and plate slots. Nuts received on the threaded legs hold the plate against the column.

摘要： An adjustable free-standing shelving unit with horizontal shelf support beams suitable for holding one or more wire deck panels, which are detachably mounted to vertical corner posts by way of a unique combination of shoulder bolts, attached to the horizontal support beams, and keyhole slots in the vertical corner posts. In some embodiments, shoulder bolts having a head with a wrench receiving surface, an unthreaded shoulder, and a threaded shank are attached to the horizontal support beams using hex nuts. The keyhole slots, which are formed in each of the angled flat sides of the L-shaped vertical corner posts, are sized so that the heads of the shoulder bolts can be inserted into the wide upper openings of the keyhole and then pushed downwardly so that the unthreaded shoulders of the bolts will slide into the low slots.

The shelf inserts nest inside the shelf supports. The shelf supports have a mating collar that attaches to the perforations of the center support pole through the use of fasteners. The shelf supports and shelf inserts can be of incrementally decreasing size, so as to create a terraced effect.
