摘要： A fitting for a drawer which can be assembled from a plurality of components and has metal drawer sides includes fasteners for connecting the drawer sides to a rear wall of the drawer. Each drawer side is provided with an angled fastening plate for connection to the rear wall of the drawer. The fastening plate has therein a keyhole and on the upper edge a slot which is open at the top and into which holding members of the rear wall of the drawer can be inserted. In addition, the fastening plate is provided with additional holes for fastening screws or tenons. The holding members of the rear wall of the drawer are plates each of which has a positioning web projecting into the open slot and a nose projecting into the keyhole.

摘要： A drawer construction set includes two metal drawer frames, each having a rear end thereof a flange extending inwardly. The flange has an upwardly open slot and a lower slot. A metal drawer rear wall has at opposite ends thereof respective bent webs, each having an upper hook and a lower positioning lug. The hooks of the rear wall are fittable into the upwardly open upper slots of the drawer frames to suspend the rear wall therefrom. The positioning lugs of the rear wall then are fittable into the lower slots of the drawer frames, to prevent vertical displacement of the rear wall relative thereto.

摘要： A file system is disclosed which includes a pair of attachable hang rails for suspending hanging files in a drawer. Each hang rail includes a horizontal bar, a vertical post and a connector segment. The front end of the horizontal bar includes a camming surface and a notch. The front end is inserted into a slot on the inside surface of a front wall of a drawer. The bottom edge of the slot provides vertical support for the horizontal bar. The camming surface acts with the bottom edge of the slot to cause the notch to straddle the top edge of the slot, thereby locking the horizontal bar in the slot and providing longitudinal and rotational stability. The vertical post is supported by a pair of bracing sleeves located on the back wall of a drawer which provide transverse and rotational stability. The vertical post rests on the bottom of the drawer to provide vertical support.
