摘要： An oral-care implement comprises a carrier plate and a support plate. Each of the carrier plate and the support plate has a back side and a front side opposite the back side. At least one cleaning element extends from the front side of the carrier plate. The back side of the carrier plate is secured to the front side of the support plate with a plastic material that is molded around at least a portion of the back side of the support plate and over at least a portion of the carrier and that fills a channel formed by a recess in at least one of the back side of the carrier plate and the front side of the support plate, thereby providing a non-detachable connection between the carrier plate and the support plate.

The improved toothbrush includes first and second flexible anchor portions; a plurality of bristles coupled to each of the first and second flexible anchor portions; and a soft pivot bar operably coupled to the flexible anchor portions. A chewing force applied to the pivot bar causes the pivot bar and the first and second flexible anchor portions to compress against a tooth surface to cause a cleaning action.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a toothbrush. The toothbrush (1) includes a head (2), and a through hole (3) formed vertically through the head. The through hole (3) is formed in one or more portions by a predetermined length at a predetermined portion around a front, back, left or right of the bristle body (5) to prevent the bristle body (5) from being separated from the head (2). The bristle body (5) and the head (2) are connected to each other by one or more connecting portions. This toothbrush enables the bristle body implanted with bristles to freely and flexibly move upwards, downwards, leftwards or rightwards in the through hole of the head, so that the bristle body flexibly moves so as to adapt to various shapes of the teeth when brushing the teeth, thereby maximizing the contact area between the teeth and the bristles as well as the brushing effect.

摘要： A hair brush that permits quick and easy removal of hair has a handle attached to a head. The head is made up of at least two frames that are mounted to the handle through cantilevers that permit movement of the frames relative to one another. The bristles are mounted to the frames, preferably in single rows. A force applied to one frame moves that frame relative to the other frame and the handle, thereby permitting the user to reach between the frames to remove any hair that is caught in the bristles. The brush allows a gap between the bristles to be enlarged, thereby making removal using human fingers much easier. Repeated movement and return of the frames to their resting position can cause the hair fibers to work away from the bristle bases and make removal much easier.

The articulated head includes two sections and each of the head sections has a bottom surface and a side surface. Each of the head sections includes a plurality of bristles extending from the bottom surface of that head section and at least one of the head sections includes a plurality of elastomeric fingers partially defining the side surface of that head section and partially extending from the bottom surface of the head section. The head section most remote from the handle, in a normal configuration of the articulated head, is angled with respect to the other head section.

The body region further comprises upstanding palm grips, a thumb grip area, and a flexible distal end to allow flexing of the toothbrush head.

摘要： A tool, an attachment head and a power tool system, each for working on contoured surfaces, are disclosed. The numerous embodiments of the designs are made possible through the use of flexible structures that exhibit a phenomenon known as the “fin ray” mechanism because it was first observed when studying the motion of fish. Similar to the fish fin, the working surface of the disclosed tools behave unexpectedly when a lateral force is applied: they do not bend away, but curve toward the applied force. Generally, each “fin ray” tool includes at two flexing sidewalls or members joined at their tips to form an acute triangle. A plurality of struts hold the members apart while allowing elastic movement. The curve of the working surface allows the tools to provide greater contact on contoured surfaces.
