摘要： An article of footwear includes an upper having a tensioning element operable to move the upper between a tightened state and a loosened state. The tensioning element includes a first strand having (i) a first portion extending along a lateral side of an ankle opening of the upper to a first turn in the heel region, and (ii) a second portion extending from the first turn and along the lateral side of the ankle opening to a second end at an anterior end of the ankle opening. The tensioning element also includes a second strand having (i) a first portion extending along a medial side of the ankle opening to a second turn in the heel region, and (ii) a second portion extending from the second turn and along the medial side of the ankle opening to a fourth end at the anterior end of the ankle opening.

摘要： An article of footwear including a 360° lacing system configured to secure the footwear to a wearer's foot. The lacing system includes an elongated lace that extends rearward adjacent an ankle collar, around a heel of the footwear, and forward again. The lacing system includes one or more fairleads that project outwardly from the ankle collar. The fairleads define fairlead holes through which the lace is extends. The lace is slidable relative to the holes, and thus the fairleads, and can be removed from and replaced relative to the fairleads with minimal effort. A related method of utilizing the article of footwear is also provided.

摘要： Articles of footwear (e.g., soft snowboard boots) that may be tightened from the rear side to enhance heel hold are disclosed. A lace may be coupled to a strap that extends along a portion of the rear side of the boot body. The lace and strap may be arranged such that, upon tightening of the lace, the strap is pulled toward the front side. Tensioning of the lace may cause the lace to be pulled inward so as to exert a normal pressure against the medial and lateral sides of the boot, resulting in the sides being drawn inward toward the shaft region of the boot. The lacing system may employ one or more tightening zones where separate regions of the boot may be tightened independently from, or simultaneously with, one another. For example, a boot that is configured to have two tightening zones may include a first lace arranged so as to tighten a portion of the boot including at least one of the rear side, the medial side and the lateral side; and a second lace arranged so as to tighten another portion of the boot, including at least part of the front side. As a result, various “zones” of the boot may be separately controlled, tightened independent from one another, as desired.

The wide portion of the second lace is fastened to the mid-foot portion of the shoe upper at a second position that is nearer to the heel end than the first position.

In order to improve the tension of the shoe on the foot of the wearer, the fastening system (8) comprises, in addition to the fastening lace (9), at least one tie element (12) which has at least two ends (10, 11), wherein one end (10) of the tie element (12) being secured in the region of one of the two tensioning sections (6), wherein the tie element (12) extending into the region of the sole (3), wherein the tie element (12) running from the tensioning section (6) till the sole (3) at least in some sections in at least one guide (13) in which the tie element (12) is at least partially displaceably arranged in the direction of the longitudinal axial o f the tie element (12) and wherein a loop (14) of the tie element (12) formed in the region of the tensioning section (6) being enlaced by the fastening lace (9).

The bending feature allows the phalanges sole portion to articulate upward with respect to the metatarsus sole portion. An upper is attached to the sole and defines a foot void for receiving a human foot. The upper has a phalanges portion that defines at least one toe receiver volume. The at least one toe receiver volume defines a raised shape with respect to an adjacent metatarsus portion of the upper. Articulation of the phalanges sole portion and substantially unrestricted toe lift movement into the at least one toe receiver volume allows substantially unrestricted upward toe flexion of a received foot in the foot void.
