摘要： A wearable device conveys information to a user. The device includes a master soft circuit cell and a plurality of actuation soft circuit cells. These cells are physically interconnected to form a garment that is worn by a user and each of these cells includes an electrically non-conductive fabric covering. Each of the actuation cells is electrically connected to and operates under the control of the master cell. The master cell is configured to wirelessly receive actuation instructions and activate a combination of the actuation cells based on the received actuation instructions. Each of the actuation cells is configured to generate a particular actuation that is perceived by one or more senses of the user whenever the actuation cell is activated by the master cell. A system also conveys affective state information to a user.

摘要： A scarf assembly includes a length of fabric extending longitudinally and gathered laterally at a medial neck-engaging portion. A respiratory mask is secured to the interior surface of the neck portion and stored there, to be deployed and circumscribing the head and lowering it to cover the nose and mouth of the wearer. A neck pillow supported on the neck portion includes a tubular sleeve to secure a resilient pillow. A pair of hand pockets are formed in the distal end portions of the scarf. A length adjustment arrangement at each distal end enables the scarf to be adjusted for use by people within a wide range of height and girth.A secondary opening is provided at the inner end of each hand pocket for a hand to reach through each pocket and extend the fingers through the zipper closure.

摘要： A neck scarf which a person can wear to keep himself cool in summer and warm in winter. The scarf's elongated mid-section defines a series of generally rectangular pockets, odd in number, arrayed end-to-end longitudinally for substantially the mid-section's entire length. A single gel pack is slip-fitted into each pocket, which is then sealed shut. Also preparatory to use, each gel pack must be activated: cooling gel packs by placing them in a freezer; warming gel packs by heating them in a microwave. Disposed generally symmetrically about its center pocket, the scarf includes tapered end closure sections used not only to fasten the mid-section snugly about the neck but also to insure the center pocket's gel pack is worn close enough to the hypothalamus to stimulate it, thus magnifying for hours the scarf's effect on its regulation of the body's temperature.

摘要： The present disclosure generally relates to intelligent garments that provide thermal regulation in a variety of environments. The garments may include different layers such as a hydrophobic layer in direct contact with a wearer's skin surface and saturated with an aqueous mixture, a spacer layer, a reflective layer, and an outer hydrophobic layer. The layers of the garment may work together to reduce the metabolic expenditure of the wearer in extreme environmental conditions or during demanding physical activity. A variety of sensors may be displaced throughout the garments so as to enable the collection of data associated with wearers as well as environmental conditions. Wearers may control the thermal balance and other properties of the garments as desired.

摘要： An evaporative neck cooling device made from a plurality of separate circular fabric bands that are stacked one on top of another and are held together by a pair of fabric clasps that are each tied together in a nail knot at opposite sides of the stacked plurality of circular fabric bands, thereby providing a smooth wearable evaporative cooling device, and wherein the separate circular fabric bands provide increased surface area to enhance evaporation yet also cover one another to slow evaporation such that when the separate fabric bands jostle around one another on the user's neck, they permit different bands be exposed to the ambient air and different bands be covered by other bands at different times.
