摘要： The subject of the invention relates to a fishing rod that has a handle (1), a shaft (2), with tip top guide (7), containing a spring, a reel support seat (3) running between the handle (1) and the shaft (2), and reel support rings (26, 27) located on the seat (3), as well as a trigger (11) for using top-mounted reels. The essence of the invention is that the handle (1) is connected to the seat (3) and the seat (3) to the shaft (2) with releasable connections, and the seat (3) is established to accommodate both bottom-mounted and top-mounted reels (40) and also to accommodate a trigger (11) that may be attached and removed from the seat (3) for operating top-mounted reels (40).

The components of the fishing pole may include a handle component, a reel seat component, and a main rod component. The components may be replacably coupled to one another as desired by a user. The coupling may be performed by threaded regions attached to each of the components and designed to mate with one another. The components of the fishing pole may be aligned with alignment brakes used to limit the rotation of one component onto another as the components are replacably coupled. The reel seat component, as well as one or more of the other components, may include a performance enhancing gripping surface.

摘要： A fishing rod assembly is provided that includes a rod blank and a handle affixed to a proximal end of the rod blank. The handle has a base part and a reel seat part adjacent and distal to the base part for accommodating a reel. The rod blank is supported only at its rearmost end by the base part of the handle so that the rod blank is free to move in response to even small forces applied to a tip of the rod. In addition, the rod blank is exposed up to a forward face of the handle base part, enabling the fisherperson to hold the handle while easily maintaining direct tactile contact with the rod for better detection of rod blank movement and improved fishing rod sensitivity.

The ground spike is used primarily for securing a fishing rod to the ground, and the clamp is used to secure a fishing rod to a dock, boat, or numerous other objects. The ground spike and clamp may be combined into one compact unit that can either be integrated into and form a removable fishing rod handle, or be a separate unit that resides underneath a fishing rod handle during use.

The replacement tip is a formed body that has a threaded end. The ferrule is formed as part of the body so that is not susceptible to breakage. The ferrule can be also lined with a ceramic eyelet that reduces friction on the line passing through it as well as adding strength. The coupler is a two ended-part that has two formed tapered threads or two formed metal inserts inside the coupler. The coupler is twisted onto the end of the broken rod until it is secure. The other end of the broken rod is then twisted into the open end of the coupler. Once the second end of the rod is secure, the rod is again ready to use.

摘要： A wrapping device for placement on a support surface to wind thread onto elongated rod or section blanks of fishing poles to affix component parts therealong and for decorative purposes. The wrapping device includes a wrapping support saddle with a support base for placement on the support surface. A pair of support uprights are movably mounted to the support base in a spaced relationship to accommodate rod and section blanks of differing lengths. The support uprights have respective wrapping saddles to selectively rotatably support the rod and section blanks of fishing poles. The support uprights also allow hands-free stopping of winding of the thread while under tension by securing the rod or section blanks to prevent unwrapping of the thread. The support uprights project forwardly toward a user and each is of a height for placement on the support surface of a table to position the rod and section blanks of the fishing poles in a comfortable horizontal wrapping position. A thread delivery system is movably mounted to the support base for dispensing and guiding the thread under a desired constant tension onto the rod blank. One or more constant tension springs engage the thread and deflect during winding so as to maintain the desired constant tension on the thread when winding is stopped. The wrapping device further includes a steady rest which includes a base member for placement on the support surface and an upright member affixed thereto which supports the rod or section blanks of longer lengths.
