摘要： A hand-held rope tie is operable to releasably hold one or more portions of a rope. Pivotally connected arm members accommodate and hold the rope portions with a selected clamping pressure. The rope tie is adjustable to tightly grip and clamp onto the rope without slippage of the rope through the arms when desired.

摘要： A utility belt is disclosed. The utility belt comprises a belt track, a ball bearing assembly, and an extender assembly. The belt track includes a first belt section having a first male locking mechanism and a first female locking mechanism, and a second belt section having a second male locking mechanism and a second female locking mechanism. The first male locking mechanism connects to the second female locking mechanism. The second male locking mechanism connects to the first female locking mechanism. The first belt section and the second belt section each comprises an outer sheath and an inner tube. The inner tube includes a plurality of C-shaped rings. The ball bearing assembly has a ball bearing and a joint. The ball bearing rotates about the belt track. An extender assembly is coupled to the belt track and includes at least one connector and at least one spacer.

摘要： A system and device for restraining an animal. A bracket and crossbar provide a means by which the system can be disposed on or over a door or window jamb. The crossbar provides a counter-force to a mount disposed on top of the door or window header, the crossbar having been disposed through the door or window and providing counter-pressure on the frame of the door or window. The system includes a suspension mechanism by which an animal can be suspended from the bracket. The suspension mechanism includes a means for adjusting the length, allowing the animal to be lifted off the ground or floor.

摘要： A method of securing an animal to a fixed object with a securing device via a lead line is disclosed, wherein the securing device includes a frame and a retaining member coupled to the frame and is mounted to the object. The method includes inserting a segment of the lead line through the frame, extending the segment of the lead line around the retaining member, and pulling the lead line to bring the lead line into contact with the retaining member to thereby frictionally interlace the lead line with the frame and the retaining member such that a panicked animal can pull a length of lead line through the securing device.
