摘要： The present disclosure relates to a lawn sweeper designed to collect debris, such as grass clippings and leaves, from a surface such as a lawn, and more particularly to a lawn sweeper with an adjustable brush assembly and characteristics associated with improved storage of such a device. A user may adjust the brush assembly with respect to the housing without needing to move the wheels. The hopper assembly may include a panel movable to be placed in at least two orientations, thereby allowing a user to change the volume within which the hopper assembly may collect debris. Methods are also disclosed for adjusting the brush assembly and for storing a lawn sweeper unit.

摘要： The present invention provides for noise reduction during operation of a portable blower by reducing the noise or acoustic energy escaping from the housing outlet and blower tube. The noise reduction is achieved by placing sound absorbing material in the blower tube. The sound absorbing material may include flared upstream and downstream ends to reduce turbulence. The sound absorbing material may be held within the blower tube by an insert frame such that substantial portions of the sound absorbing material are exposed to air passing through the blower tube. Also disclosed is a sound absorbing insert that can be placed within an existing blower tube to retrofit portable blowers with noise reduction technology.

The cross-sectional areas of the first and second nozzle inlets are greater than the cross-sectional area of the middle nozzle inlet to equalize vacuum force throughout the nozzle. The nozzle further includes a nozzle extension that extends below the nozzle and an adjustment apparatus for adjusting the height of the nozzle extension from the ground to conform the chipper-shredder vacuum to the terrain. The nozzle extension may be raised for bumpy or thick terrain or lowered for a flat terrain.
