The apparatus can handle various types of bales of hay, straw, etc. It can also be used to lift and transport loose fibrous material. The retainer is pivoted downwardly to grip and hold the material on the teeth. When the retainer is pivoted upwardly, the push arm can be moved to its extended position to urge the material off the forward ends of the teeth.

摘要： The bale carrier is of elongated character for three-point hitch mounting on a tractor. It is a double bale carrier and comprises a unitary elongated mainframe having a rectangular perimeter the longer sides of which are formed by a lower horizontal base bar and an upper header bar and shorter sides of which are formed by end plates lying perpendicularly to the base and header bars. An interior frame structure consists essentially of two spaced apart interior plates and X braces in cooperative relationship between the interior plates and end plates. Three-point means for hitch mounting is provided. Carried on the mainframe are two pairs of bale-supporting teeth pivotally mounted underneath the bas bar and extending perpendicularly outward. Each tooth preferably extends outward from a base bar location proximate to a plate of the mainframe. A heel continuation of each tooth terminates within a pivot-limiting frame depending downwardly from a location proximate to the side of the mainframe opposite that from which the teeth project.

摘要： An agricultural implement, such as a hay rake, may be easily and quickly connected to or disconnected from the tow bar of a tractor. The apparatus features a large main frame assembly which extends over top of the tractor to a ground-engaging position in front of the tractor. The hay basket or other implement is connected to an end of an auxiliary lift frame which is pivotally coupled to the main frame by a hydraulic lift cylinder which permits the implement to be raised from its normal, ground-engaging position to a position far above the top of the tractor for unloading or transport. A second, lift cylinder controls the level of the implement during lifting and transport, while a third hydraulic cylinder serves to operate a push-off mechanism for unloading the hay rake. The apparatus also features a quick-connect-disconnect hitch for coupling to the draw bar of the tractor, and an integrally formed stand for supporting the main frame when uncoupled from the tractor.

A U-shaped carrier for the assembly has a shaft at its bight passing through the tube and a pair of arms supported by caster wheels. A power cylinder between the assembly and the carrier raises the shaft and the tube to lift the stack as the arms swing about the wheel axles. Connections between the tube and a tractor limit the extent of rotation of the tube relative to the shaft. When used with the three-point hitch of a tractor the entire mover may be raised for full support by the tractor.
