The payment processing platform receives a user selection of a core account held with the financial institution, such that the core account provides financial backing for the child product. The child product is generated that includes a child card number and a virtual PIN associated with the core account. Advantageously, the method provides the ability to make PIN debit transaction on the Internet.

摘要： The present invention generally relates to a computer security system for use in the identification and authentication of a user prior to an on-line transaction. In one aspect, a method for facilitating a secure transaction over a network is provided. The method includes collecting a username and password associated with a user of the machine. The method further includes verifying that the username and password matches a previously collected username and password in an identity profile. The method also includes collecting device data from a user machine to uniquely identify the machine. Additionally, the method includes verifying that the device data matches previously collected device data in the identity profile. In another aspect, a computer-readable medium including a set of instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to facilitate a secure transaction over a network is provided. In yet a further aspect, a system for facilitating a secure transaction is provided.

Advantageously, since creating, distributing, and redeeming of the financial child products is performed using existing legacy networks, financial institutions only need to minimally modify legacy payment processing infrastructure to support these distributed payment products.

Personal data is stored on the first storage device, which is not accessible by a NFC reader device. After transmission of the data to the reader device, the data on the second storage is erased. In one embodiment, the data remains stored in the first storage device and available for future use. In another embodiment, the data comprises financial product data.
