摘要： An auto-injector comprising: a housing for receiving a syringe having a barrel containing a medicament, a plunger and a needle; a plunger driver configured to act on the syringe plunger to move the syringe plunger through the housing during a needle insertion phase and an injection phase; a safety shroud; and a plunger driver latch coupled to said safety shroud and moveable between first and second positions and configured to: while in the first position before the needle insertion phase, latch the plunger driver at a pre-insertion position in the housing, move to the second position as a result of pressure applied to the safety shroud, to unlatch the plunger driver from the pre-insertion position and allow forward movement of the plunger driver to a post-insertion and injection position in the housing and latch the plunger driver at the post-insertion and injection position, and return to the first position upon removal or reduction of pressure on the safety shroud, to unlatch the plunger driver from the post-insertion and injection position and allow forward movement of the plunger driver to deploy the safety shroud.

摘要： A needle shield remover for removing a needle shield from a syringe. The needle shield remover comprises a receiving means to receive at least part of the needle shield, removing means to detach the needle shield from the syringe whilst it is present in the receiving means; and retaining means to temporarily retain the needle shield in the receiving means after removal of the syringe. Temporarily retaining the needle shield in the needle shield remover allows the needle shield remover to be reused. Additionally, by retaining the needle shield the needle shield remover prevents the needle shield from being lost or dropped on the floor when it is not retained within the needle shield.

摘要： A medicament delivery device is disclosed, comprising a cartridge assembly that comprises a cartridge having a medicament chamber for containing a medicament, a sealing element for sealing a distal end of the medicament chamber and a coupling element attached to the cartridge. The device also includes a sealing element release member, a cannula for delivery of the medicament, and a removable cap. The device is switchable from a starting configuration in which the release member is spaced from the sealing element to an activated configuration in which the release member cooperates with the sealing element to connect the medicament chamber to the cannula. A proximal end of the release member is sealed in a release member chamber defined in part by, the sealing element and in part by the coupling element.

The device has a connection arrangement (199) comprising a hub (166) and spring means (184) for driving relative movement between the hub (166) and the cartridge (10) upon operation of an operating member (190). The operating member switches the connection arrangement (199) from an unconnected configuration to a connected configuration, in which the hub (166) cooperates with the cartridge (10) to open the outlet (15). When connected, fluid may flow between the chamber (14) and the cannula (134).

摘要： An injection device for delivering a dose from a cartridge or syringe. The injection device comprises a housing, a drive shaft, a drive spring for urging the drive shaft to rotate relative to the housing, and a plunger coupled to the drive shaft such that rotation of the drive shaft relative to the housing causes the plunger to move axially relative to the housing. The device further comprises a dose setting member moveable relative to the drive member between a first position in which the dose setting member is rotatable relative to the housing for setting a dose and a second position in which the dose setting member is rotationally fixed relative to the housing for delivering a dose, and a stop member. The stop member is engaged between the dose setting member and the drive shaft such that relative rotation between the dose setting member and the drive shaft during dose setting causes the stop member to travel relative to a first stop surface, and rotation of the dose setting member together with the drive shaft during dose delivery does not cause the first stop member to travel relative to the first stop surface. If the stop member abuts the first stop surface during relative rotation between the dose setting member and the drive shaft, continued travel of the stop member and hence continued relative rotation between the dose setting member and the drive shaft is prevented.

Movement of the interlock component (250) towards the second position causes bending of the flexible locking member (214) away from the stop face (160) to allow displacement of the trigger component (200) to the firing position.
