摘要： The invention relates to an apparatus and method for scarifying the interior surface of pipes, such as a sewer pipe. The apparatus comprises a chassis, a carriage coupled to the chassis to reciprocate along a longitudinal axis of the chassis, a shaft capable of indexing rotation coupled to the carriage, and arms extending radially from the indexing shaft and tipped in high-pressure nozzle assemblies. The method comprises positioning the apparatus in a pipe and alternately reciprocating the carriage and indexing the shaft so as to scarify successive longitudinal swathes of the pipe surface until the desired circumference of the pipe section is scarified. The apparatus is then repositioned in the next section of pipe and the method is repeated until the desired length of pipe is scarified. The invention may further comprise a separable propulsion unit.

摘要： Material lining the inside surface of a section of pipe is removed by a hydrodemolition nozzle assembly mounted on a working end of an elongated boom. The opposed end of the boom is supported outside the pipe on a movable support for inserting and retracting the boom from the inside of the pipe. The nozzles remove the liner while the working end of the boom is supported by a wheel resting on the liner that has not yet been removed and that rolls along the inside liner as the pipe is made to revolve around the boom. The nozzles are oriented to eject the liner and water downstream and away from the boom.

摘要： A method of and apparatus for cleaning a surface, such as a wall of a waste boiler of a Kivcet furnace, are described. The invention comprises suspending a pair of spaced apart cables adjacent a surface to be cleaned, attaching ends of the rail to respective ones of the cables with equal lengths of cable between the rail and the roof, the rail being reversibly moveable up and down the surface. A carriage has a nozzle assembly, operative to emit a jet of water, with the carriage reversibly moveable along the rail. The rail is moved from one of a top and bottom of the surface to another of the top and bottom of the surface, and the carriage is moved from one side of the rail to another, cleaning the surface as it moves. The foregoing steps are repeated for each remaining uncleaned surface.

摘要： This application discloses an apparatus for scarifying the interior surface of a sewer pipe, which can remain in the sewer under active flow conditions. The apparatus includes at least one scarifying head, which may transverse back and forth along a rail assembly, which is configured to match the circumferential shape of the sewer pipe. The scarifying head includes a nozzle assembly and driving assembly. The nozzle assembly, located at the outer end of the scarifying head has nozzles. The nozzles emit jets of water under pressure to clean or scarify the interior surface of the pipe.

摘要： In accordance with the invention, there is provided a concrete removing apparatus for removing concrete from an inclined wall of concrete having a frame with a front region. The frame may be supported on either a platform or from the wall with the front region adjacent to the wall. A carriage assembly is coupled to the frame assembly proximate a front region thereof, the carriage assembly extending from one side of the frame to another. A nozzle assembly is mounted on the carriage assembly and operative to move laterally of the frame assembly in response to activation of the carriage assembly. A nozzle on the nozzle assembly is operative to emit a jet of fluid against the wall of sufficient velocity to remove concrete from the wall. A transporting assembly is coupled to and operative to raise and lower the carriage assembly.

摘要： A steeply inclined surface is hydrodemolished by providing a staging platform and a rig that includes a base frame defining a planar footprint within the frame. The rig is suspended from the platform by a cable such that frame is coplanar with the surface and the incline of the surface causes the rig to lean against it. Rails are provided on the surface to restrain spurious lateral movement of the rig. The rig is positioned on the surface and nozzles mounted on a trolley within a travelling carriage on the frame travel in two dimensions to hydrodemolish the surface within the footprint. The rig is moved vertically along the rails and laterally along the platform to reposition the rig to work a new section of the surface in conjunction with other rails that are also mounted on the surface.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a facet cutter used with hydro-demolition equipment in cutting openings in structural surfaces. The facet cutter includes a nozzle head with one or more nozzles. The nozzle head can be placed adjacent a side of the opening where the facet is to be cut. The nozzle head is oriented so that the axes of the nozzles are substantially perpendicular to the desire plane of the face of the facet. High-pressure fluid is applied to the nozzle and the nozzle head is moved over the plane of the facet, thereby cutting the facet. Various axial and rectilinear motions of the nozzle head may be effectuated by various drivers and rotators, at least some of which are controlled remotely by a remote control device.
