The method also includes forming redistribution layers on a temporary substrate having a pattern of contact areas forming wafer bonding pads matching the die pads and a pattern of contact areas forming redistributed pads different than the wafer bonding pads, the wafer bonding pads are coupled to the redistributed pads through a plurality of stacked conductive and insulating layers. The die pads are coupled to the wafer bonding pads, and the temporary substrate is removed. The wafer and redistribution layers are then divided into a plurality of redistributed electronic devices.

Each EO circuit has a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) configured to receive a baseband signal, and an optical source comprising an optical source electro-optical (EO) modulator and configured to generate an optical signal. Each EO circuit also has an EO modulator coupled downstream of the DAC and to the optical source and configured to modulate an optical carrier signal based upon the baseband signal and the optical signal, and an optical combiner coupled downstream of the EO modulator and coupled to the optical source. In addition, there are a plurality of antenna circuits spaced apart from the plurality of EO circuits, each antenna circuit comprising at least one photodiode and an antenna element coupled thereto. A method for the network includes transmitting node role information from each gateway node to respective wireless nodes within each stub net. The node role information includes node reactive routing directions for establishing a route outside of a given stub net. A route request is unicast transmitted from a first wireless node in a respective first stub net to a respective first gateway node based upon the node role information. The route request is a request to communicate to a second wireless node in a respective second stub net. The route request is transmitted from the first gateway node across the backbone net to the second gateway node of the second stub net.

摘要： A biological sensing apparatus includes an excitation source configured to induce waves in a biological target, and an optical waveguide interferometer configured to sense the induced waves in the biological target. The optical waveguide interferometer includes a plurality of optical couplers and interconnecting optical fibers arranged to define a reference arm, a measurement arm, and a probe segment coupled to the reference arm and the measurement arm and having a probe segment end to be positioned adjacent the biological target. An optical path length adjustor is coupled to the reference arm. A controller cooperates with the optical path length adjustor and a first optical detector. The controller is configured to adjust an optical path length of the reference arm to maintain a constant relationship with respect to an optical path length of the measurement arm, and to generate biological target data based upon the first optical detector.

A modulation and mapping circuit modulates the communications data and training sequence into a plurality of multiple subcarriers that are orthogonal to each other to form an OFDM communications signal having modulated subcarriers carrying the communications data forming a data payload and modulated subcarriers forming the preamble. A pseudo-random signal generator is operative with the modulation and mapping circuit and generates pseudo-random signals based on an encryption algorithm for frequency hopping each subcarrier at an OFDM symbol rate. The modulation and mapping circuit applies a quadratic modulation to the subcarriers carrying the training sequences to produce a low peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) preamble with a PAPR value of approximately 2.6 decibels (dB).
