摘要： A continuous casting chill mold, for the continuous casting of metals, particularly of steel, comprises a water-cooled interior section and an outer jacket section which avoids the problems associated with the machining of the cooling channels and at the same time reduces wastage, in that the interior section is produced by chipless (i.e. non-machining) production methods as a thin-walled sleeve having a dense microstructure, the interior section is surrounded by a coiled cooling pipe which, together with the interior section, is positively materially bonded to the outer jacket section consisting of copper applied by casting techniques. Neither in the cooling zone nor in the wall region of the mold cavity is there any risk of cutting into pores or pipes because all chip-removing machining is dispensed with.

A first grinding disc is followed by a second grinding disc at a continuously constant distance. The distance is determined by the width of the first grinding disc and the remaining grinding parameters, such as the rotational speeds of the first grinding disc and of the workpiece and the feed rate in the longitudinal-axial direction, such that the second grinding disc grinds the helical error lines generated by the first grinding disc during the grind process. A control device adjusts the distance between the first and second grinding discs.

摘要： A pneumatic hammer-tool designed for driving fastener bolts, in which a piston within a cylinder is charged with compressed air and progressively accelerated in order to drive a fastener bolt, is constructed in such a way that the wall of the cylinder is interrupted by windows on the retracted side of the piston. The axial extension of the windows is less than that of the piston. The cylinder is surrounded by a housing which is connected to a compressed air supply. As the piston is advanced forwardly from its rest position it opens the windows in the cylinder in such a way that compressed air can flow into the cylinder from the surrounding housing and charge and accelerate the piston. In this way much greater kinetic energy is produced. Unintentional actuation of the hammer tool is safely and reliably prevented by a mechanical and a pneumatic safety device.
