    • An optical fiber connector (1) includes a housing (10), an insulated body (20), an optical element (30) received in the housing, and a spacer (40) for securing the optical element in the housing. The housing defines a front and a rear receiving spaces (11, 12). The front receiving space is for receiving the insulated body and an optical plug (60), and the rear receiving space is for receiving the optical element. A partition wall (13) is formed between the front and the rear receiving spaces and defines an aperture (14) thereon. The aperture forms a tapered face (15) at a rear portion thereof for preventing the optical fiber plug from inserting into the optical fiber connector.

    • An electrical connector compatible to standard USB connector includes an insulative housing forming a tongue (12) extending forwardly, a plurality of first and second contacts (22) mounted to the housing, and a shell (30) enclosing the housing. The tongue defines a plurality of passageways (14, 19) in a longitudinal direction. Each first contact has a first beam (213) received in a corresponding passageway and each first contact has a first contact portion in a front portion thereof. Each second contact includes a second beam (223) received in a corresponding passageway and each second contact includes a second contact portion in a front portion thereof. The first beams of the first contacts and the second beams of the second contacts are alternatively arranged in the passageways.

    • An electrical card connector (700) has a housing (2) and a spring switch (3). The spring switch includes a first spring contact (31) and a second spring contact (32). The first and second spring contacts respectively have body portions (313, 323), contact arms (314, 324) extending from the body portions, and fixing portions (310, 320) extending from ends of the body portions. The first spring contact has an engaging portion (318) extending from the fixing portion thereof. The engaging portion and the fixing portion of the first spring contact are formed in an L-shaped configuration. The housing has a cavity (210) and a notch (212) communicating with each other for receiving the fixing portion and the engaging portion of the first spring contact.
