    • A terminal strip includes a number of terminals and a strip connecting the terminals. The terminal has a body, a soldering portion extending downwardly from the body and a spring beam extending upwardly from the body. The strip has a number of slots defined during punching the soldering portion thereof. The body has a bottom edge and a connecting portion connecting with the soldering portion. A breaking cut is formed in the connecting place between the bottom edge and the strip. The breaking cut is distributed into a number of slots connecting with each other. The configuration of the breaking slot can make several slots each with a short tearing journey when the terminals are separated from the strip, that can improve the efficacy of the product yield.

    • A card edge connector includes an elongated housing and a number of contacts retained in the housing. Each contact has a retaining portion retained in the housing, a contact portion forwardly extending from a front end of the retaining portion and a connecting portion backwardly extending from a rear end of the retaining portion. The contacts are arranged in two rows and formed with a first receiving space between two rows of contact portions to receive a module and a second receiving space between two rows of connecting portions to receive a mother board. The first receiving space defines a first center line along an insertion direction of the module. The second receiving space defines a second center line which is parallel to the first center line and offset to the first center line along an up to down direction perpendicular to the insertion direction.

Each outer wall has a ladder with a circular hole (1312) formed therein. The ejector has a pair of spindles (312) received in the circular holes and a pair of standoffs (313). Each standoff has a horizontal surface (3131) abutting against a corresponding horizontal resisting surface (1314) formed on the ladder so as to make centers of the spindle and the circular hole overlap when the ejector rotates inwardly.

The stop arm has an abutting section behind the operating section along a fourth direction perpendicular to the operating section to limit a deflection of the operating section.

    • A card edge connector for mating with an electronic card includes an elongated housing, a number of contacts and a retainer disposed in the housing. The housing has a center slot extending along a lengthwise direction of the housing and a first tower section at one end thereof. The retainer is rotatably retained in the first tower section and does not extend beyond the first tower along the lengthwise direction, a thickness direction of the housing and a direction opposite to an insertion direction of the electronic card. The retainer has a locker to lock the electronic card and at least a spring sandwiched between the locker and an outer wall of the first tower section to make the locker automatically move in the lengthwise direction in an insertion process of the electronic card.
