摘要： An optical ring system having: a wavelength demultiplexer to which wavelength-multiplexed optical signal to be sent through an optical fiber from a previous node of multiple nodes is input and in which optical signal with each wavelength assigned to itself is demultiplexed; an optical ring device which is disposed in a predetermined node of the multiple nodes to the each wavelength assigned and which is composed of a failure existence judging part which terminates an overhead of each optical signal with a wavelength demultiplexed by the wavelength demultiplexer and judges whether a failure occurs in regard to a wavelength in a previous section through which optical signal with the assigned wavelength is sent, and a switching part which, when the failure existence judging means determines the occurrence of failure, selects a path that allows optical signal with the wavelength to be transmitted to the previous node while avoiding the previous section incurring the failure; and a wavelength multiplexer which multiplexes optical signal to be output from the optical ring part and then outputs it to an optical fiber connected to a next node.

摘要： A connector for a jack includes four contacts of first, second, third and fourth contacts each having a contact portion and a connection portion, and a housing, to exchange signals and to ascertain whether a plug connector has been inserted into the connector. The third contact substantially U-shaped in cross-section includes a contact piece having a first contact part adapted to contact the plug connector, and a spring piece having an elasticity facing to the contact piece and provided by forming a U-shaped slit in a part of the third contact at a location opposite to the contact piece. When the plug connector is inserted into the connector, the plug connector pushes the first contact part of the contact piece to cause the contact piece to be displaced to the spring piece so that the contact piece pushes the spring piece to cause the spring piece to be displaced toward the housing and at the same time the spring piece pushes the contact piece with each other with the aid of its elasticity. The connector achieves a reliable holding force for the plug connector without scratching it.

摘要： A blower includes: an impeller on which there are arranged axial flow blades 40 mounted at circumferential intervals to an outer peripheral surface of a boss; a case surrounding the impeller; and a bell mouth cylindrically constricted to guide gas into the case, wherein an inner diameter of the bell mouth is smaller than an outer diameter of the impeller. Further, each blade has, in the radial direction, a sweepforward wing portion situated on the boss side and exhibiting a positive advance ratio value, and a sweepback wing portion situated on the outer peripheral side of the blade and exhibiting a negative advance ratio value, with the arc length of each blade increasing from the boss side toward the outer peripheral side.
