    • Provided is an image management apparatus for medical use which allows a small-scale medical treatment facility such as a practitioner to easily and efficiently associate image data generated by an image generation apparatus with patient information. The image management apparatus for medical use is equipped with a storage section (32) which is connected to an image generation apparatus (2) so that data can be communicated therebetween and stores patient information relating to patients, a patient selecting means for selecting a patient to be examined from among the patients stored in the storage section (32), a patient specifying means for specifying the patient selected by the patient selecting means as a patient to be associated with image data, and a controlling section (31) which associates, when the patient is specified by the patient specifying means, the image data transmitted from the image generation apparatus (2) whith the patient information relating to the specified patient, and automatically associates the image data with the patient information according to a predetermined allocation rule when no patient is specified by the patient specifying means.

In a sixth embodiment of the invention, a one-piece cleat is engaged with a front main body and two rear spring biased latches.
