摘要： A toner container detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus, includes a main body for containing toner; a sealing portion for sealing the toner discharge opening; locking projections for snap fitting engagement with holes provided in a cylindrical member of an image forming apparatus, wherein the projections receive from the cylindrical member unsealing forces for unsealing the toner discharge opening by a relative movement between the sealing portion and the toner container, wherein a number of the locking projections is larger than a number of ribs provided between the holes of the cylindrical member.

摘要： A toner supply container detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus includes a container body with a discharge opening formed thereon. A sealing member, which unsealably seals the discharge opening, includes an engageable projection engageable with an engaging member provided in the image forming apparatus and a support for displaceably supporting the portion. The sealing member is moved relative to the container body away therefrom to unseal the discharge opening. The engageable projection is with the engaging member. A releasing projection, is provided in the supporting member, for receiving, from a releasing member provided in the image forming apparatus, a force for displacing the engageable projection in a direction of disengagement from the engaging member.

摘要： A toner supply container detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus includes a container body with a discharge opening formed thereon. A sealing member, which unsealably seals the discharge opening, includes an engageable projection engageable with an engaging member provided in the image forming apparatus and a support for displaceably supporting the engageable portion. The sealing member is moved relative to the container body away therefrom to unseal the discharge opening. The engageable projection is engaged with the engaging member. A releasing projection, is provided in the supporting member, for receiving, from a releasing member provided in the image forming apparatus, a force for displacing the engageable projection in a direction of disengagement from the engaging member.

摘要： A toner supply container includes a toner container body including a cylindrical portion and an opening, and a sealing member provided at one axial end portion of the container body. The sealing member is movable relative to the container body in an axial direction and includes a sealing portion provided at a side adjacent the container body and a coupling portion provided at a side remote from the container body. The coupling portion includes a supporting portion provided on the sealing portion, an engaging portion provided at a free end of the supporting portion, and a displacing force receiving portion provided on the supporting portion at a position closer to the container body than the engaging portion. The displacing force receiving portion is displaceable with the supporting portion and has a radially outermost part that is more remote from a rotation axis of the container body than a radially outermost part of the engaging portion. The supporting portion, the engaging portion, and the displacing force receiving portion are made of a plastic material.

摘要： A sealing member seals an opening provided at one axial end of a rotatable container body of a toner supply container detachably mountable to an assembly of an image forming apparatus having a hollow cylindrical driving member. The sealing member includes a sealing portion provided at a side adjacent the container body to seal the opening, and a coupling portion provided at a side remote from the container body to receive a rotational drive force. The coupling portion includes a supporting portion provided on the sealing portion, an engaging portion provided at a free end of the supporting portion, and a displacing force receiving portion provided closer to the container body than the engaging portion. The engaging portion includes a rotational force receiving portion being abuttable in a circumferential direction of the driving member, and a locking portion being abuttable in an axial direction of the driving member.

The coupling member includes a coupling portion provided at a side remote from the container body. The coupling portion includes a supporting portion which is elastically displaceable in an inward direction toward the axis of the container body and is elastically restorable in an outward direction away from such axis, an engaging portion configured and positioned to displace in an inward direction with the supporting portion and to engage with a slot of a hollow cylindrical driving member of the image forming apparatus when the supporting portion elastically restores in an outward direction, and a displacing force receiving portion configured and positioned to receive a force from a hollow cylinder of the image forming apparatus and cause the supporting portion to elastically displace in an inward direction.

摘要： A toner supply container detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus, includes a rotatable toner containing portion for containing toner having a toner discharging portion projected from one end thereof, with respect to a direction of a rotational axis, of the toner containing portion, the toner discharging portion having a cross-sectional area, which is smaller than that of the toner containing portion, and having an opening, and which is formed in a peripheral portion thereof, for permitting discharging of the toner; and a coupling member provided on the end of the toner discharging portion, including a coupling engagement portion engageable with a hole formed in a peripheral portion of a cylindrical member provided in the image forming apparatus to receive a rotational driving force for discharging the toner from the cylindrical member, wherein the coupling engagement portion includes a rotational force receiving projection having a side for receiving the rotational driving force from a coupling rib at a circumferential end of the hole of the cylindrical member, and is elastically deformable in a radial direction so that the rotational force receiving the projection is engaged with the hole of the cylindrical member.
