The motorized portable appliance includes an electric motor, a secondary battery and at least one other source of electrical power, and an automatic control to switch between the secondary battery and the other source of electrical power, which may be mains electrical power, an external secondary battery, an on-board secondary battery, an automotive battery, a solar photovoltaic array, or a primary battery. Power conditioning circuitry converts power from the various power sources to a form compatible with the electric motor and recovers remaining power from depleted primary batteries.

摘要： The invention provides a method and circuitry to save power in a synchronous logic ASIC with low overhead. The scan chain(s) and boundary scan mechanism of the synchronous logic ASIC are used and modified for shifting out current states of internal memory devices of the synchronous logic ASIC to an external memory and for retaining the power-off blocks' primary output values to the memory devices of the boundary scan circuit, so the proposed gated power method is efficient and low overhead in the synchronous, flop-based, logic circuit design.

摘要： An electric vehicle with an innovative folding and positioning structure of the head tube includes a head tube having a bottom connected to the top of a top tube through a movable joint, constituting the swivel part of the head tube. The top of the top tube has a ratchet edge in a circumferential design. The bottom of the head tube is installed with a ratchet block, being pulled up and down to joggle with or detach from the ratchet edge. A transmission shaft, pivoted and located in the slot of the head tube, can be shifted upward and downward. A positioning component, shifting downward through forcing the transmission shaft, enables the joggling between ratchet edge and ratchet block. An elastic component, which pushes upward the transmission shaft when the positioning component is in a release state, and then enables the detachment of ratchet edge from ratchet block.

According to a particular aspect of the invention, an electric motor for an electric fan having a fan housing is provided. The mounting arrangement comprises a mounting portion of the motor casing, and an insulating member mounted to the mounting portion of the motor casing without a separate fastener. The insulating member is configured to accept a fastener that can be utilized to mount the motor casing to the fan housing such that the fan housing would be insulated from the motor casing.
