    • A forming machine includes a first transmission mechanism connected to a cutting mechanism and a conveying clamp mechanism, a drive mechanism for driving the first transmission mechanism; and a second transmission mechanism driven by the drive mechanism for driving a feeding mechanism. The second transmission mechanism includes a driven wheel driven by the drive mechanism, a first swing member connected to the feeding mechanism and confronting the driven wheel, an eccentric pin projecting axially from the driven wheel and connected slidably to the first swing member. The eccentric pin slides relative to the first swing member while rotating along with the driven wheel so that the first swing member is swung to and fro in a cycle motion and completes one cycle for each revolution of the eccentric pin.

    • A screwhead forming apparatus includes an operating mechanism driven to reciprocate, a male die driven by the operating mechanism to reciprocate and having a die cavity of a predetermined shape, a stationary female die, and a punch rod driven by the operating mechanism to impel the blank into the die cavity of the male die so as to forge an elongated blank. A compression spring assembly consists of a plurality of spring units which are disposed between the operating mechanism and the male die and which have different spring forces so that the spring assembly creates a successively increasing spring force to bias the male die to press against the female die after the male die is brought to contact the female die by the operating mechanism during movement of the punch rod relative to the female die. The spring units are compressed completely just before the blank is moved entirely into the die cavity of the male die so as to prevent removal of the male die from the female die.

    • An equilibrium apparatus of cut-off mechanism for high-speed nut former which includes a cutting unit carrying a cutting tool thereon, and a counterweight unit carrying a counterweight unit thereon. The cutting unit and the counterweight unit are connected pivotally to a coupling unit which is fixed on the machine table of the nut former at the central portion thereof so that the cutting unit and counterweight unit are capable of effecting straight motion. A push plate is drivable to move in a first direction so as to push the cutting unit and the counterweight unit to move in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction in such a manner that only one of the cutting unit and the counterweight unit is pushed. A spring device is disposed on the cutting unit and the counterweight unit for absorbing the shock produced from the cutting action of the cutting tool and for biasing the cutting unit and the counterweight unit to move in a third direction which is opposite to the second direction. The cutting unit and the counterweight unit are always moved in opposite directions so that the equilibrium of the cut-off mechanism is achieved.

    • A forging machine includes a support having two sidewalls, and two track plates attached respectively to the sidewalls. A slide body of a die assembly is mounted slidably inside the support between the sidewalls. Two first rolling devices are respectively mounted on the track plates near the front of the support to contact the slide body. Two second rolling devices are mounted respectively on the sidewalls above the track plates and near the rear of the support to contact the slide body. Due to the first and second rolling devices contacting the slide body near the front and rear of the support, the slide body can slide stably in the support without positional deviation.

    • A workpiece holding clamp mechanism includes first and second clamp arms associated with respective clamp jaws. The first clamp arm is mounted on a transmission shaft, and has a sleeve part sleeved onto the transmission shaft, a first prong extending axially from the sleeve part and having a shaft receiving recess, a second prong extending axially from the sleeve part and spaced apart transversely from the transmission shaft, and a connection part bridging the first and second prongs. The first and second prongs cooperate with the sleeve part and the connection part to confine a receiving space which is aligned with a key groove of the transmission shaft into which a key is inserted. The connection part reduces an incidence of crack formation due to stresses in the first clamp arm.
