    • An imaging device includes an imaging unit capturing an image of a subject, and tracks, through images captured in time series, an area in which a specific target appears. The device includes a parameter acquiring unit acquiring a photographic parameter from the imaging unit, a target area determining unit determining an area of a captured image including the specific target as a target area, a track area adjusting unit setting a track frame for a track area to track the target area including the specific target and adjusting a size of the track frame based on the photographic parameter, and a track area searching unit searching the captured image for the track area, while moving the size-adjusted track frame, based on a similarity between a characteristic amount of the track area of a current captured image and that of the target area of a previous captured image.

    • A noise eliminating device may include a noise eliminating mechanism that eliminates an isolated noise in an image being photographed. The noise eliminating mechanism may include a noise pixel detection mechanism and a pixel correction mechanism. The noise pixel detection mechanism may detect a noise pixel by scanning the image. The pixel correction mechanism may correct a level of a detected noise pixel based on a level of a pixel located in a predetermined area from the noise pixel. A noise eliminating method for eliminating an isolated noise in an image being photographed may include detecting a noise pixel by scanning the image and correcting a level of the detected noise pixel based on a level of a pixel located in a predetermined area away from the noise pixel.

    • An object image detection device is disclosed that is able to rapidly detect an object image from an input image. The object image detection device includes an image block generation unit to generate plural image blocks from the input image for detecting the object images, an image classification unit to determine whether each of the image blocks includes one or more of the object images by using one or more features of the object images, and acquire the image blocks including the object images to be object image candidates; and a detection unit to sequentially detect the object images from the object image candidates. The image classification unit acquires the object image candidates based on a relative positional relationship between the image blocks and already-acquired object image candidates.
