The liquid lens element includes a main body, a lens surface, and a sealing portion, the main body including a first substrate, a second substrate, and a third substrate that is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and forms a liquid chamber, the lens surface being formed of an interface between two liquids which are contained in the liquid chamber and have different refractive indexes and being capable of being electrically deformed, the sealing portion hermetically sealing the main body. The fixing jig is engaged with the first substrate and the second substrate, the first substrate and the second substrate sandwiching the third substrate.
