    • Disclosed are a method and a system for inter-system redirection. The method comprises: a base station sending a first message to a terminal, instructing the terminal to perform redirection; and the terminal accessing the redirected network; wherein the first message carries at least one of the following: a type of wireless access technology, an identifier of whether to redirect, threshold information of redirection, recognition information of the redirected cell, carrier frequency information, return indication of redirection failure, and grouping information of redirection. The present invention solves the problem in the related art of mobile terminal in a HRPD network performing completely autonomous reselection between different systems, thus reducing the network load, lowering network operating costs, and ensuring to the greatest extent the quality of service for users.

    • A method and system for handover between different networks and an eHRPD network are disclosed. The method includes that: the eHRPD network determines to hand over a terminal in an active state to a second network; the eHRPD network selects target network information used for the terminal handing over to the second network according to at least one of manners as follows: a measurement report of the second network reported by the terminal, second network information acquired from the second network and running information of the eHRPD network, wherein the target network information includes at least one of: a radio access technology type, frequency information, cell identification information and indication information returned in case of a handover failure; and the eHRPD network transmits the target network information to the terminal through a redirection message or a connection closing message. According to the disclosure, system performance and user experience are improved.

    • The present invention discloses a method for notifying a load-adjustment factor, including: a base station setting a load-adjustment factor of a sector and notifying a user terminal. The present invention also discloses a method for selecting and determining Data Rate Control (DRC) pointing, including: when selecting a sector which a DRC points towards, a user terminal calculating a difference value by deducting the received load-adjustment factor of the sector sent by a base station, from the measured signal measurement strength of the sector; the user terminal determining whether to point the DRC towards the sector according to the signal measurement strength resulted from the deduction. The present invention also discloses a method for determining sector handover, including: when selecting to handover add or handover drop a sector, a user terminal calculating a difference value by deducting the received load adjustment factor of sector, which is sent by the base station, from the measured signal measurement strength of the sector; the user terminal determining whether to handover add or handover drop the sector according to the signal measurement strength resulted from the deduction.
