    • Disclosed is a method for improving a communication success rate in a simultaneous call trial between subscribers in a mobile communication system. The method includes receiving by a second subscriber network an IAM message from a first subscriber network when a first subscriber tries a call to a second subscriber; determining by the second subscriber network whether the second subscriber has requested a termination to the first subscriber, after receiving the IAM; aborting by the second subscriber network an originating call trial of the second subscriber when the second subscriber has requested the termination; trying by the second subscriber network a page to the second subscriber after aborting the originating call trial; and setting a call between the first subscriber and the second subscriber by the first subscriber network and the second subscriber network, after succeeding in paging the second subscriber.

    • Disclosed is a method for establishing a call connection in a wireless terminal, which can make a call connection using one line number when a call connection fails through another line number in a wireless terminal subscribing to a service in which the portable terminal uses two line numbers. The method includes receiving call release signals from a mobile switching center with respect to a call request of the wireless terminal; reattempting the call request in the wireless terminal with respect to the mobile switching center using a line number having priority, when the call release signal is received from the mobile switching center to the wireless terminal; and assigning resources from a resource pool used for another purpose so as to establish the call connection to the line number having priority when the mobile switching center receives the call request, which uses the line number having the priority, from the wireless terminal again.

The method includes the steps of, upon receiving a location registration request from a mobile station, detecting a location shift of the mobile station and performing location registration depending on the detection result; determining whether to transmit the time information to the mobile station depending on the location shift of the mobile station; and upon determining to transmit the time information to the mobile station, generating a string message corresponding to the time information and transmitting the string message to the mobile station.

    • In a WCDMA mobile communication system, when the amount of packet traffic transmitted to or received from a UE decreases during a predetermined time in a CELL_DCH state in which a WCDMA packet data connection has been established, the UE transitions to a CELL_FACH state by a radio network controller (RNC). Thereafter, it is determined if there is no transmitted or received packet traffic during a certain time in the CELL_FACH state (which is an RRC state in which an RRC connection has been connected, and the dedicated physical channel has been released). When it is determined that there is no transmitted or received packet traffic during the certain time, the UE requests a network to release the RRC connection by utilizing a Signaling Connection Release Indication (SCRI) message. The invention enables a UE to check a packet transmission or reception flow, and to directly transmit the SCRI message to the network.
