    • A portable terminal includes a main housing having a display device and a second keypad positioned adjacently to the display device and a first keypad adapted to slide on the main housing to expose and hide at least a part of the display device. The first keypad overlaps the second keypad when the display device is exposed. The portable terminal having a movable keypad can expose a part of the movable keypad, which is adapted to slide, and to position it in such a manner that it overlaps another keypad when not used to provide a large screen. In addition, the movable keypad does not independently occupy a space on the terminal but can selectively overlap another keypad or the display device for making the terminal in a compact size.

    • A personal digital assistant (PDA)/telephone combination device comprising a base, a screen coupled to the base, and a keypad hingably mounted to the base. The keypad provides a partial view of the screen in a lowered position and a full view of the screen in a raised position. The keypad comprises a window that provides the partial view of the screen when the keypad is in a lowered position. A cover hingably mounts to the base wherein the keypad is located between the cover and the base. The cover rotates between an open position and a closed position. The screen displays telephone information when the keypad is in a lowered position. Control buttons coupled to the base are covered when the cover is in the closed position and uncovered when the cover is in an open position. In an additional embodiment, control buttons coupled to the base are uncovered when the cover is in both the closed position and the open position.

    • A guiding device for use with a fan-radiator cooling system wherein the fan is upstream from the radiator. The guiding device comprises a series of guide vanes in combination with at least one guide ring. When placed between the fan and the radiator, the device improves the heat transfer capacity of the cooling system by directing air flow through the radiator center, a region that typically suffers from reduced flow due to the air flow pattern in and around the fan hub. Furthermore, the guide vanes align the air flow from the fan so that it is generally parallel with the axis of the fan. The guiding device permits greater heat removal with a given fan and radiator without increasing the speed of the fan.

    • The present invention relates to a screen printing apparatus comprising a support mechanism for supporting the material to undergo printing; a printing plate in which an ink penetrating portion is formed possessing the shape of the print; a printing plate housing for housing the printing plate at a position in contact with the material to undergo printing; a slider which is capable of bi-directional horizontal movement with respect to the printing plate; a slider driving mechanism for driving the slider bi-directionally; a first squeegee and a second squeegee for spreading over the printing plate ink supplied to the printing plate; and a squeegee switch mechanism installed in the slider for supporting the first squeegee and the second squeegee, and for selecting one of these first squeegee and second squeegee, and placing the selected squeegee in contact with the printing plate. In this manner, a sheet support mechanism for supporting a sheet; a plate unit formed from a printing plate and plate housing; and an ink imprinting mechanism are provided. The aforementioned ink imprinting mechanism comprises the aforementioned first squeegee and second squeegee; slider; a belt for moving the slider in both directions, and a first cylinder and second cylinder for raising and lowering each squeegee. The printing plate is formed from a material incorporating a ferromagnetic substance, and electromagnets and/or permanent magnets are arranged in the aforementioned sheet support mechanism.

A capacitor is connected in parallel with the horn actuating switch for enabling the turning ON and OFF cycle of the triggering switching means to be repeated in a given period of time during which the electric current flowing through the coil of the electromagnet is gradually reduced in its level.
