摘要： In a display driving circuit according to the present invention, not all the pixel values (example : 0˜255) but only the values (example : 179˜255) of the significant partial range (N˜100%) have data of histogram of pixels of an image as a partial histogram, and when the pixel (Ds) at the significant t% rank order of the entire histogram is within the range of the partial histogram, the display driving circuit performs its operation in the same manner as in the case where it has the entire histogram, and when the pixel (Ds) is out of the range, the display driving circuit uses the range minimum value (N) in the place of the pixel of the significant t% rank order and performs its operation.

摘要： In a touched position detection method for a touch panel for detecting a touched position, based on measured values by a plurality of sensors, presence of a touch is determined when a measured value by a sensor exceeds a touch threshold. As a touch threshold, a value which cannot be attained due to a mere noise but can due to presence of a touch is set. With respect to sensors located in the vicinity of a sensor showing a high measured value, a higher weighted value is applied to modify a measured value in a touched position calculation process than that to be applied to other sensors.

摘要： Provided is a touch-panel device capable of detecting a touched position with high accuracy even when a touched area extends off an electrode area. In one embodiment, the touched area is assumed to be, for example, circular in shape. A width in an X direction (overlap width) and a width in a Y direction (overlap width) of an overlap area where the touched area in a circular shape and an electrode area overlap each other is determined based on sensor measured values. When the overlap width and the overlap width are different from each other, it is judged that the touched area extends off the electrode area, and a position of a center of the touched area in the circular shape is calculated as the touched position.
