摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for receiving a signal transmitted through a multi-path in a wireless communication system, and more particularly an apparatus and method for removing a fake path detected by the ripple of a baseband pulse shaping filter to detect the position of an effective multi-path signal in a direct sequence Code Division Multiple Access system. The method for detecting a fake path in a user equipment in a mobile communication system includes detecting peak indexes and peak energies of peaks of signals received from node B, performing a fake path check with respect to the peaks based on the peak indexes and peak energies, and allocating fingers to peaks which have been determined not to be caused by a fake path as a result of the fake path check.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for estimating a channel in a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) communication system are provided. The apparatus includes a subcarrier demapper for extracting pilot symbols at preset positions for a channel estimation; and a channel estimator for acquiring channel estimate values of subcarriers through an Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filtering using the pilot symbols provided from the subcarrier demapper and a preset filter factor. Thus, the channel condition can be estimated by taking into account the channel change.

摘要： An apparatus and method for estimating a channel in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system is provided. The apparatus and method includes estimating a channel corresponding to a pilot of a received signal, performing a first estimation on a data channel by performing time-domain linear interpolation on pilots of previous and next symbols of the pilot using the channel estimate, performing Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filtering on the channel estimate and the data channel estimate of the pilots of the previous and next symbols of the pilot, and performing a second estimation on the data channel by performing frequency-domain linear interpolation on a remaining zone which excludes the pilot and the zone that underwent the first estimation.

The seed information generator randomly generates a seed value for changing a channel of a subcarrier and an interference pattern in a frame unit when a HARQ combining gain is not generated because an interference pattern is the same during a retransmission period. The subcarrier allocator allocates a subcarrier using the generated seed value.

摘要： A method and apparatus are provided for generating a code by quickly computing a state of a Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) in a mobile communication system, in which a code for the communication system is generated including an n-stage LFSR and operating in sleep mode and active mode set at a preset time interval from the sleep mode. Current state values of the LFSR are combined with n different mask patterns such that the current state values are shifted by {20,21, . . . ,2n−1}. A combination result is provided as a new state value of the LFSR at an arbitrary time variably set in the sleep mode. To transform a current state value of the LFSR to a new state value after an arbitrary time, the code generation method employs a square and multiply algorithm without use of mask patterns.
