    • A method of task assignment in a distributed processing system including a plurality of processors is proposed. The method of task assignment includes calculating utilities of tasks to be processed in execution units included in each processor and arranging the calculated results in descending order; calculating utility difference values between the execution units included in each processor and outputting a highest difference value; comparing a utility of the task with the output highest difference value; designating the task to be assigned to the execution unit having the lowest utility in a processor in which the highest difference value is generated when the utility of the task is less than or equal to the output highest difference value; repeating the calculating, comparing, and designating in the order of the arranged tasks; and assigning the tasks to the designated targets.

    • The present invention relates to a method, apparatus and system for network resource reservation and a mobile terminal therefor. Provided are a method, apparatus and system for minimizing unnecessary network resource reservation by predicting an expected direction of a terminal. The method for network resource reservation based on a moving speed of a mobile terminal includes: receiving a request for network resource reservation from the mobile terminal; calculating an expected moving direction of the mobile terminal, based on a speed-based moving probability model represented by a probability density function for a movable direction dependent on the moving speed of the mobile terminal, a moving speed of the mobile terminal, and position information of the mobile terminal; and performing network resource reservation for wireless cells included in the calculated expected moving direction. Thus, unnecessary network resource reservation can be minimized by predicting the moving direction of the terminal.

    • Provided are a system and a method for self-healing in a critical system. The present invention monitors a current situation of the critical system, determines whether a system has an error by analyzing the monitoring result, judges whether to perform self-healing in a current state or drive safety software which provides a minimum basic service according to self-healing of the system error or not when the system error occurs, and evaluates self-healing performance after healing the system error. According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to continuously provide a software service and further improve the reliability of the self-healing system through the evaluation of the self-healing performance.
