    • The device for making frozen confections such as ice cream comprises a double-walled cylindrical vessel having an upper open end and a closed bottom and consisting of a thin aluminum inner vessel member and a thin aluminum outer vessel member with the upper ends thereof hermetically sealingly curled together, the space between the inner and the outer vessel member being filled with a cold keeping agent, an outer receptacle for receiving and supporting the vessel therein with a clearance or heat insulating material provided therebetween, a cover member adapted to engage at its periphery with a ring attached to the upper edge of the double-walled vessel and/or the outer receptacle, and a stirring means extending into the interior of the vessel through a bearing hole formed at the center of the cover member. The freezable cold keeping agent may be cooled and frozen to keep sufficient cold before use so that, when the confectionary to be frozen is placed in the double-walled vessel after the agent has been cooled and frozen, the confectionary is appropriately frozen while it is stirred by the stirring means thereby permitting the frozen confectionary can be prepared.

    • The present invention relates to a paint-coating brush consisting of a rectangular flat body plate, a handle installed on a center of an upper surface of the body plate, and a plurality of bristles bundled on a lower surface of the body plate, wherein a front end portion of the said plate is bended downward to form a sharp R-shaped muzzle section. The procedures of using the paint-coating brush include: (A) dipping the plurality of bristles in paint; (B) using a front end (tip) portion of the body plate to contact a borderline of a target object and then coating towards a central part of the object being painted. However, the procedure of masking non-coating areas is not included.

    • An ink-jet printing apparatus which is capable of maintaining a predetermined clearance between a printing surface of a printing object and an ink-jet head, includes a printing object mounting portion, on which the printing object is mounted, an ink-jet unit provided so as to be capable of relative movement in an opposing direction with respect to the printing object mounting portion, and mounting an ink-jet head which can oppose the printing surface of the printing object, shifting means for shifting the ink-jet unit mounting portion relative to the printing object mounting portion in the opposing direction, and a clearance adjusting sensor provided at the side of the ink-jet unit mounting portion so as to be capable of contacting the printing surface of the printing object. The shifting means is driven in a direction where the clearance adjusting sensor is caused to to contact the printing surface of the printing object, the shifting means then is driven in the opposite direction when the clearance adjusting sensor comes into contact with the printing surface of the printing object, and relatively shifting the ink-jet unit mounting portion is shifted relative to the printing object mounting portion in a direction where the clearance adjusting sensor moves away from the printing surface of the printing object by a predetermined magnitude.
