摘要： An antenna device capable of increasing the speed of scanning as well as extending the scanning angular range of a beam to obtain a high gain. A radar module and a communication apparatus having enhanced detection capabilities obtainable by using the antenna device. In the antenna device, electromagnetic waves radiated from a primary radiator are transmitted to a plurality of openings, e.g., dielectric lenses and/or reflectors or optical transmitters. The dielectric openings are arranged on a fixed portion and the primary radiator is arranged on a moving portion. The moving portion is displaced relatively with respect to the fixed portion. This arrangement enables the selection of an opening used for receiving each of the electromagnetic waves from the primary radiator to change the direction of the beam.

A visual guide marker device includes one of a light-reflecting component having a reflection characteristic and a light-generating component which self-generates light, and a guide marker including a dielectric material.

摘要： An antenna device has less change in gain during beam scanning, caused by the displacement of a primary radiator with respect to a dielectric lens, and scanning can be carried out over a large angular range at uniform gain. A primary radiator has a focal plane in a position deviating from the optical axis of a dielectric lens, and when the primary radiator intersects the optical axis, the primary radiator leaves the focal plane. As a consequence, by moving the primary radiator away from the optical axis to other positions, change in the gain caused by change in the open efficiency and aberration can be reduced.

摘要： A voltage source type power converting apparatus having voltage source type power converter units and phase-shifting transformers. The transformers have either a common multiple-phase primary winding or a group of parallel connected multiple-phase primary windings, either of which being connected in parallel or series to a multiple-phase AC system. The transformer further include a group of multiple-phase secondary windings with phase differences with respect to each other and which are connected to voltage source type power converter units. The voltage source type power converter units are operated with the phase differences. Accordingly, the construction of the multiplexing phase-shifting transformer is simple, and fundamental electric variables can be controlled by a simple phase controlling operation. In addition, a higher harmonic defect of the AC system can be reduced, and the DC voltage can be easily raised.
