    • An improved infusion bag for preparing an infusion of tea or other infusible substances, comprising a sachet member of liquid-permeable sheet material and a pull string. The pull string is joined at the upper apex of the sachet. At least one ventilative slit is provided below the joint point of the string and the upper apex of the sachet. The sachet can be folded into a generally tetragonal shape. After steeping, and by the action of withdrawing and submerging, the infusible substance swells and sinks to the lower apex of the sachet. The improved infusion bag makes the infusible substance less compacted and overcomes the constraint due to the capillarity of the liquid-permeable sheet material itself and the interface capillarity of the mass of the infusible substance. This gives a higher quantity and higher concentration of infusion liquor.

    • A smart-tag housing and method for securing a dedicated data card affixed to a SMIF-pod. A molded housing package for holding a data card for communication with a two-way receiver/transmitter mounted on a workstation, the smart-tag is a small battery operated microcomputer with an LCD for a two-way electro-magnetic communications. The smart-tag housing includes a battery compartment, a battery compartment cover. A retaining plate is affixed to a side of the pod using double-sided adhesive tape. The smart-tag is demountably secured to the retaining plate with a slidable self locking plate. The self locking plate is unlocked with a key that is provided only to authorized personnel.

    • An FET ROM and a manufacturing process in which ROM's can be stockpiled after the gates have been formed and the source and drain implants have been made but before the write operation has been performed. At this stage, the unwritten ROM has an array of enhancement mode FET's connected in a logical NAND configuration with an overlying layer of insulation. For a write operation, the insulation is removed to expose the drain and source regions of the FET's, a conductive layer is formed over the array, and the layer is selectively etched to leave a short circuit element between the drain and source of those FET's that are to store a binary 0 and to leave switchable the FET's that are to store a 1.
