摘要： Ethylene-based copolymer microparticles and functional group-containing ethylene-based copolymer microparticles that have particle diameter smaller than that of conventional polyethylene fine-particles, no inter-particle agglomeration, very narrow particle size distribution, and high sphericity are provided, in which requirements (A) to (E): (A) The intrinsic viscosity [η] measured in decalin at 135° C. is in the range of 0.1 to 50 dl/g, (B) at least 95 wt % or more of particles pass through a mesh screen with an opening of 37 μm, (C) the median diameter (d50) measured by laser diffraction scattering is 3 μm≦d50≦25 μm, (D) the circularity coefficient is 0.85 or more, and (E) the variation coefficient of particle diameter (Cv) is 20% or less. Non-agglomerated spherical magnesium-containing microparticles used as magnesium-containing carrier component for olefin-polymerization catalysts that can manufacture the above microparticles are also provided.

In the copolymer, structural units derived from the conjugated diene represent 1 to 90 mol %. Structural units resulting from 1,2-addition of the conjugated diene and having a side-chain double bond represent 0 to 90 mol %, structural units resulting from 1,4-addition of the conjugated diene represent 0 to 3 mol %, structural units resulting from 1,3-addition of the conjugated diene represent 0 to 3 mol %, and the total of structural units resulting from 1,2-addition of the conjugated diene and having a 1,2-cyclopropane skeleton and structural units resulting from 1,2-addition of the conjugated diene and having a 1,2-cyclopentane skeleton represent 4 to 100 mol %.

摘要： The metallocene compound according to the invention and the olefin polymerization catalyst containing the compound are intended to produce a catalyst capable of preparing an isotactic polymer with a high polymerization activity. The metallocene compound contains a substituted cyclopentadienyl group and a (substituted) fluorenyl group and has a structure wherein these groups are bridged by a hydrocarbon group or the like. The process for preparing a metallocene compound according to the invention is intended to selectively prepare a specific metallocene compound so as not to produce an isomer, and in this process an intermediate product is synthesized by a specific method. The process for preparing a polyolefin according to the invention is intended to prepare a polyolefin having excellent impact resistance and transparency, and this process comprises homopolymerizing an α-olefin of 3 to 8 carbon atoms or copolymerizing an olefin of 3 to 8 carbon atoms and another α-olefin in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst containing the above-mentioned metallocene compound.
