In the inkjet printer, ink ejection and ink curing are repeated in order to form a thick film, where the inkjet print head (5) performs the ink ejection for ejecting the UV-curing type ink to the print paper (3), and the ultraviolet irradiation device (A) performs the ink curing for curing the ink printed on the print paper (3) immediately following the ink ejection.

    • A photo-polymerizable ink-jet ink composition comprises a photo-polymerizable resin consisting of photo-polymerizable monomers, a photo-polymerization initiator, and a coloring material and is substantially free from a solvent. The photo-polymerizable monomers contain a hexa-functional monomer in a proportion falling within the range of 10% by weight to 30% by weight with respect to a total amount of the ink composition.     • A cationically polymerizable composition is provided, which comprises a cationically polymerizable compound, a cationic polymerization initiator, and a specific tertiary alkanolamine or tertiary alkylamine. The cationically polymerizable compound is preferably an alicyclic epoxy compound and an oxetane compound. The above amine accounts for 0.01 to 1.0% by weight, preferably 0.05 to 0.5% by weight of the total of the cationically polymerizable composition and the cationic polymerization initiator accounts for 0.1 to 20 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the cationically polymerizable compound. The composition is excellent in storage stability and dispersion stability of colorants contained therein.
